JFK Assassination and Museum Tour with Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House

301 reviews
The circumstances of JFK’s assassination are controversial. During this guided tour, a historian helps you separate the facts, stories, and theories behind that pivotal day in 1963. Visit both the Grassy Knoll in Dealey Plaza and the John F. Kennedy Memorial during this tour that includes entrance fees and round-trip transport.

They have the widest array of interesting beers in Dallas. By far. And great cocktails and gin and scotch selections.

Strangeways is a bit of a dive bar, but has outdoor seating and ample room indoors. The draft list has about 40 items, and care has been taken to make sure the flavor of the brews are preserved. The cask of Jesterking Witchmaker was quite a pleasant surprise. The staff and clientele were very friendly and informative. My only concern is that there was no Smiths music playing (too depressing?)

My husband and I have driven over to Strangeways from Shreveport a few times now and it has always been worth the trip. The tap selection isn't enormous (30-40), but the beers are all solid. The bottle selection is pretty darn impressive too. We were able to find St. Arnold Bishop's Barrel #7 this past weekend and I could lots of other impressive bottles in the coolers as well. The food is fantastic too. We recommend the tamales and the torta (my personal favorite). The plantain chips are fantastic too! It is in an interesting part of town. It kind of adds to the magic of the place, in my opinion. We will back!
