I love Churches, especially Cathedrals. I used to go by this beautiful one all the time. I pray that a cause for Sainthood for Father Joaquin Saenz y Arriaga be opened once it's possible. A dear, heroic, Catholic priest utterly faithful to Christ.

Dear Father Joaquin Saenz y Arriaga, please pray for conversion and final perseverance of my family, friends, enemies. Thank you for not betraying Holy Mother Church.

On a recent visit to Dallas, I attended mass at this cathedral. It is beautiful and well maintained, well worth visiting if you have a chance. Note all the stained glass and the sculptured stations of the cross around the front of the church.
It has a busy mass schedule on Sundays, alternating Spanish and English, spaced about 11/2 hours apart.

This previously a small parish church has been completely refinished and now is not only the diocesan church but the largest hispanic parish church in the state of Texas. Very unique and beautiful.

This is an over 100-yr old Cathedral undergoing exterior renovation. The interior is breathtaking & rivals churches in Europe. Well worth the visit.

We photographed it at night and during the day, this cathedral is adjacent to the Dallas Arts district and just south of Kyle Warren Park and can make a beautiful addition/contrast to the Dallas skyline.

Gorgeous Catholic church located in downtown Dallas. We were fortunate to walk in on a weekday. Both the inside and outside of the church is beautiful. Lovely spot to visit and say a prayer.

I always enjoy walking around new cities, and when I can find a church I like to take a few moments to reflect and be thankful. With that, I am often surprised by interesting architecture and/or art. The Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadelupe has some beautiful stained glass and an interesting exterior. I would like to come back for a service, as it appears they have a wonderful organ. From what I was told, they are the second busiest Catholic Cathedral in the country.

The Cathedral of Guadeloupe is a nice, if utterly undistinguished Gothic-style church in downtown Dallas. It seems like a fine parish and the mass I attended was good, but I can’t see any reason to visit it as a tourist attraction.

Beautiful day to walk around the city of Dallas. The Guadalupe Cathedral is remarkable, with many years of history continues to be one of the most beautiful in the city
