It was cool to go check out these cattle statues.
Dallas was once a big cowboy town, so it only made sense to honor these animals with many statues of them. I enjoyed the trails in this area. I would just caution people to be aware of the muddy surfaces. There were also fountains.

We stopped here on our last day in Dallas. The sculptures were life-size and very impressive to behold. It is right next to the Pioneer Cemetery, which is right next to the Convention Center. We found parking on site because someone was just leaving when we arrived. There were several small parking spaces around the park. There were also metered street parking. We visited on a Sunday, so I don’t know if the meters were running. We walked around the park for an hour (free parking limit). The park was small, so there weren’t any bathrooms. We went into the Convention Center to use the bathroom. The view of the tall buildings from the Convention Center was great, too.

    Great quick stop
enjoyed visiting but I like to know what i'm looking at and there was no signage explaining the sculptures - or at least I couldn't find it. It would've been nice if there was a plaque acknowledging the sculptor and the historical/regional significance of this piece. That being said, it's a really cool exhibit. I love how it cascades down the hill. Really just a 10-minute stop, but you won't regret it.

We have only ever gone here when family is visiting. The park the statues are in is nice, and visitors all love getting photos with the cattle. Also the location makes for very easily working this into a downtown Dallas walking tour day!

Great spot to check out a little history about Dallas. The sculptures are unique in a beautiful area close to the farmers market and other cool sights. If your in the area there’s a free 1 hour parking lot right next to it if you want to walk around for a bit.

The livestock trade and cattle drives were such an important part of Texas’ history and its great to see these sculptures on full display on one of the trade routes. The sidewalk contains a map of some of the cattle drive trails, which includes Dallas. The sculptures help provide a mental picture of the many cattle drives that flowed through Texas and Dallas! Be sure to take a quick stroll through the historic cemetery that is located next to the sculptures!

I visited the Dallas Cattle Drive Sculptures at Pioneer Plaza several times during my visit to Dallas in May 2022. There are maybe 40 sculptures of cattle with cowboys. It is spectacular and a great photo opportunity. You can walk around and view the cattle drive from different angles. I think it is a "must see" in Dallas. It is located not far from the Convention Center and Omni Hotel.

The Cattle Drive Sculptures are located on Pioneer Plaza in the Convention Centre district of downtown Dallas.
It is huge with tree riders and about 50 bronze steers, crossing a small waterway. The artwork is very beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

Cattle Drive was situated in a terrible little area... Construction and stuff. But, it was an amazing sculpture. Plenty cattle stood as individuals and cowboy herding the cattle around was simply brilliant. Great composition. Memorable statue. And I didn’t count the cattle. WTF. Maybe, it’ll add to the roughness of it all. Hahahahaha.

Pretty cool cow sculptures. It makes you appreciate how big these cows are, and especially with their huge horns.
Too see the real cows, go to the Fort Worth Stockyards where they walk the cows down the street twice a day. Real cows with real hors.

Probably very Beautiful at one time, but it is not maintained.
Ground is washed away, most all grass is gone, exposed mud and rocks. Dirt is so washed away you can see foundations for statues. Make sure you walk entire route back and forth to get the real feel of the exhibit, probably better at Night. Be careful of your footing, lots of uneven surfaces, obviously. Beautiful Bronze work.

Just an amazing piece of art.
Luckily, I visited on a Sunday with barely any people around, so got some great photos.
I counted nearly 50 longhorn cattle and 2 cowboys on horseback in a fantastic collection leading down a hill and over a stream. I believe the stream had fossilized dinosaur footprints, (but I couldn't make them out)
Dallas residents should be very proud of this superb piece of work.

Not real exciting, but it's free. Basically a lot of longhorn bull statues going down a hill. There's a small manmade waterfall... I mean, it's worth 5-10 minutes of walking through it. It's not worth planning your day around.
