My husband and I recently visited Deep Ellum Brewing Company and had a blast. I highly recommend booking the open house tickets for a Saturday- for $12 (online) you get a glass to keep and fill with three beers from any of their beers on tap (of which there are lots!), and you get a guided tour through the brewery. We tried several different items on their menu while enjoying our three beers, and everything was delicious. We sat around and took our time and made a fun afternoon of it. I do recommend getting there right at 12 to get a table as it does get extremely crowded soon after. The tours happen at 1pm and at 2pm so we ate and drank from noon and then took the 2pm tour. If you take the 1pm tour, you may have a hard time finding somewhere to sit and eat when you finish the tour.

Unfortunately, the taproom at Deep Ellum Brewery was undergoing maintainence when we visited, but we didn't care because we spent the afternoon in the beer garden on a gorgeous spring day.

When we arrived we got our super-cool pint glasses to keep with three tokens each to fill up said glasses. We got there right when they opened and by the time we left the place was buzzing. Great atmosphere, especially for a brewery.

$15 bucks each for 3 beers each, keep the glass, great weather in the neat-o beer garden, and very descent live music. Oh, their beer is pretty tasty too. Yes, we enjoyed ourselves.

Fun, laid back. Hubby enjoyed the trivia night. Dog friendly, macaroons were good and staff was friendly. Clean bathrooms.

How did the last beer come in, went something along the lines quote John Wayne; 'keeping moist on the outside and wet on the inside. Apparently the king of all joints. Pity, he never saw the hummingbird whilst on vocation and bluebonnet some kiss on cheek!

Which I am not but we enjoyed it anyway. We went on a Saturday afternoon sat outside was very luck to find a table. This place was packed. They do have tables inside as well and TV to enjoy football games. Beer was nice had Dallas Blond and Blind Lemon. Had a singer which we enjoyed. Did not eat but food looked great especially the nachos. Pets were allowed at this establishment

After we finished shopping at the Deep Ellum Arts Fesitval, we walked down to the far end of the neighborhood to visit the Deep Ellum Brewing Company. Pictured below, we had our puppy with us and so we sat on the outside porch. It been raining earlier that morning, but a lot of the tables and benches had dried off by 4pm-ish.

We were able to walk our puppy through the restaurant and then sit on the back porch easily enough. Plenty of people came by to pet our dog and eventually our waiter came by, gave us a menu and we placed our orders. I had had the Dallas Blonde quite a few times around town, and my boyfriend had visited the day before with his sister and tried the Barrel Crusher again.

We also ordered sides of plain tater tots and french fries. The live music was kind of a Americans rock, everyone was very friendly with our dog (there were 4 other dogs on the patio) and we were able to share french fries with her in the nice weather.

The two beers and two sides came out to about $22 with tip, because of the great service. This is a small brewery, we didn’t see offers for a tour, but the food and drinks were great as was the ambience. We will definitely be back.
