The museum had original artifacts as well as copies of those by the great artists of the 1500s. The mural of Christ's resurrection along with the info about it was so worth the time to mediate.

When I first heard about the Museum of Biblical Art, I honestly thought that it would strictly be a history museum. The museum appeals to history and art lovers alike! Though religiously-themed, it actually showcases work from artists of all perspectives and from all backgrounds. The exhibitions span across many eras, ranging from renaissance (probably even earlier) to modern times--... More

There was a room still under construction that will host the works of Jewish culture .. A place where... More

I've lived in Dallas for nearly 4 years, and I enjoy visiting art galleries and museums, but I didn't know about the Museum of Biblical Art until it was recommended to me by a friend. I was unsure of what to expect from a visit - I thought perhaps the Museum would have a particular denominational bent or be too... More

I'd driven by the museum 100 times but somehow didn't think it was worth a visit. This is Texas after all and I wasn't sure the perspectives shared through this museum would be accurate, factual, and unbiased. We ended up attending a performance by Imagina, a low-income youth orchestra from Mexico, hosted at the Museum. To our surprise, we wished... More

Lovely Museum but also great place for weddings, parties, seminars, and church functions. Provides the extra wow, of getting to tour the Museum for your event. As harpist, I have played here quite a few times and am always excited about coming early so I can study some of the amazing artwork that is in this beautiful new building. Also... More

The Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas is an interesting collection of information but seems to lack focus and clarity. The location along a glutted major freeway, (US 75 North Central Expressway) is disconcerting.
