Discover Dallas' premier local chocolatiers, restaurants, wineries, barbeque venues and other artisanal specialty shops. On our food/sightseeing tours, you'll learn about unique Dallas cultural and historical landmarks, play food-related games to win prizes, and much more! Tours are 3-3.25 hours long and by private air conditioned bus. Prices start at $39. Most tours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but private weekday tours can be arranged including team-building and corporate tours. Price includes private bus transportation, beverages served on the bus (you can also bring your own), food at venues and many samples. We also do the Taste of the Bishop Arts Walking Food and Historical Tour, Taste of Trinity Groves Tour, Taste of Deep Ellum Tour, Taste of Downtown Dallas/Art District Tour, taste tours of Grapevine and McKinney, TX, wine/cheese/pizza/azz tours, BBQ, Bacon, Burgers and Beer and other tours. We also offer team-building and private tours for businesses, parties and other functions.

Great fun! Paula was our tour guide, and was very entertaining on the bus between stops. We sampled a great variety of chocolate treats from a variety shops from all over the Dallas area

We had a great time going from place to place. It wasn’t all just candy so there was variety and the history of the places visited was fascinating. Angela was a lot of fun and genuinely interested in everyone having a good time. The bus was clean and well maintained. This would be great for couples but also for groups wanting a fun outing. Plan on using them again during Christmas season for a family tour.

We have been on three tours with Dallas Bites. We always have a great time, and the guides are thoughtful and fun. I would highly recommend this for a date night!

Thank you Ms Rhonda for a fun Taco/Margarita Tour. The bus ride was fun with music, singing, and the tacos were yummy. Definitely using them again for other tours!

The only complaint I have is that all sales are final. We purchased 3 tickets and one of our party members got really sick and we called 2 days prior and the would not refund the ticket. Other than that we had a blast. Our group was super friendly, the food at Desparado’s was very tasty, the popsicle place they took us to was AMAZING and our driver and tour guide where great!

This tour was marked by shortages and short cuts throughout the night. At the beginning, we were told to sample lightly on the charcuterie so there would be enough to go around. No utensils were provided to serve the brie or slice large chunks. Ran out of plates. Microphone on bus not working. Christmas music not available (can one of the passengers lead us in carols?). "Multiple dessert stops" was only a single brownie at one location and single hershey kisses on the bus- if you won a trivia prize. Ran out of red wine on the bus before the tour was over. Winery was great, lights were great. At half the price, I would have been satisfied.

We booked the BBQ and Brewery tour. It was a blast, great food and beer. Rhonda the tour guide made this tour such a fun time, she keeps the party going, so much laughter, singing and a memorable experience! Loved it! Highly recommended.

How do you go about arranging a tour. What does the tour consist of? Is this tour something that would appeal to Senior Adults (65+) What is the cost? How much walking is involved? Where does the tour begin and end? Typically, how much time is involved?

Our tours definitely appeal to seniors! We have many, many seniors who are 65+ (we had many 80+ seniors on a tour yesterday) take our tours. Tours involve visiting 4-5 venues (chocolate, tacos, bbq, etc. depending on the tour) and sampling food at each...plus you will learn about the history of that food, how it's made, play trivia on the bus about that food, etc.. A typical tour is done on a bus; we begin/end at a central location--typically in the Park Cities. Uptown or Richardson area, depending on the tour. Our chocolate tours do not have much walking at all (maybe 100 feet maximum) with a few steps at some venues. Most tours last around 3-3.5 hours. Cost varies according to tour, from $39 plus tax (Chocolate Tour) to winery tours ($59-$69). Walking tours (Taste of the Bishop Arts, Trinity Groves, etc. have very little walking...maybe 1 block at a time).
