For six decades, the Dallas Farmers Market has been a fixture in downtown Dallas. Recently, the Dallas Farmers Market was renovated to serve farmers/ranchers/producers as a prime market to direct sale to the public. This is an ideal farmers market to meet the producer of your food! Dallas Farmers Market has a 26,000 sq ft artisanal food hall with restaurants and shops that is open daily. The choices are wide and varied: Abundantly Aromatic, Bellatrino, Bullzerk, Cajun Tailgators, Caribbean Cabana, Chelle's Macarons, Coolhaus, Dallas Antique, Doc Popcorn, El Mero Mero, Laili, Lone Chimney, Market Provisions, Mudhen, Nammi, Palmieri Cafe, Rex's Seafood, San Miguel Imports, Scardello, Si Tapas, Stocks & Bondy and Taqueria La Ventana The outdoor shed is a one-stop shop on weekends for seasonal produce, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, honey, and some of the best food artisans making pastries, salsas, pickles, sausages, breads, and more! The Shed (open-air) is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I am really enjoying the Food Hall. There are a handful of interesting food places and interesting shopping places. I have even bought snarky T-shirts from Bullzerk. During the weekdays at lunch I have found reasonable lines and lots of seating. If I am going with work colleagues, it offers everybody the chance to select their own cuisine (Mexican, Vietnamese,... This venue is visually appealing from curbside, but highly commercial. It is overpriced and overdeveloped. Parking was difficult. The inside of the permanent building looked like a cross between a mall food court and the state fair livestock building. The outside vendors looked a little more authentic, but by the time I'd hiked from my parking spot blocks away and... More

On our last visit there were only 2 stalls selling produce, and it was very limited and very high priced. You would do much better at some of the areas supermarkets, some of the Hispanic grocery stores have very good, fresh and reasonably priced produce. The other items for sale are also way overpriced, 3 oz Greek pie for five... More

Meant a friend for lunch driving through Dallas at the Farmers Market and really liked it. Nice open area with free parking. Food selection was great and the crowd was very vibrant. Hopefully will be able to make it back there soon!

Loved this find. Went into Dallas on a Sunday hoping for less vehicle traffic in the downtown & to be able to experience the Farmer's Market fully loaded with vendors; we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, lots of local food choices to choose from. Loved the gardening center, Ruibal's, my pocketbook would be in trouble if I lived close to... More

A few years ago the Dallas Farmers market was a great place to go to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, honey, etc. Now, the vegetable sheds have given way to lofts and little shops. There is one shed left that works only Friday-Sunday with limited fresh products. The rest of the place is now restaurants and shops. That's ok... More

We didn't know quite what to expect when venturing down to the Dallas Farmers Market. After doing a little bit of research online, we headed downtown on a Saturday morning. I highly suggest arriving prior to opening if you visit on the weekends, because parking can be a bit challenging. There are two parts of the DFM - the Shed... More

Interesting area with local farmers market on Saturdays and quite a few interesting small restaurants inside that can give coverage from the sun or rain if needed. Strongly recommend you to go here.

MudHen the restaurant is here and PACKED. They have organic food and not much of a wait. The marketplace has vendors indoors and then fresh produce, etc. across the street under a BIG awning covering. Even if it rained you would be fine. Definitely worth the adventure!!!

We had the most amazing lunch and picked up some really great deals. The Farmers Market is conveniently located and parking is free. We will definitely come back!
