first the dallas convention center is massive. the parking is confusing and it took me all four days trying different routes in and out. once parked wear your comfy shoes and you will be hiking to the event. fortunately there is coffee and good starbucks. the hotel cafe and restaurant and assorted restaurants are right outside.

When I am at a conference I like to get outside between sessions and for the times when there is a longer break. This place is not designed for that at all. You walk outside and you're in a covered underpass type thing for cabs and tour buses. There is one grassy area but it is aa the far end... More

Here for a convention. The exhibit hall (on the 2nd floor) is fine. The meeting rooms on the first floor (street level) meant having to go upstairs and then down again to go between different meetings. Some of the meeting rooms are also a bit stark. Did enjoy the meeting rooms on the 3rd floor, they are well done.

Attended the SEG2016 at the Convention Center downtown Dallas. It really is a very BIG convention centre, possibly even bigger than the one in Houston. You need good walking shoes to cruise around, it is easily ten minutes walking from one end to the other! The excellent Omni Dallas hotel is connected to the convention centre. Parking was easy on... This convention center was well planned. I never felt frustrated by my walk to and from any location in this place. Elevators to parking areas was an awesome convenience that I am not used to. Even with a large floor venue like CEDIA, I was able to walk the floors without begging for a piggy back ride. All in all,... More

Comic-Con 2016 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas Texas. Convention Center was easy to get to. Maintenance and security were clearly visible and available if help was needed. Center was clean and orderly including the bathrooms. Was very adequate for the comic convention with a huge main floor and numerous smaller meeting rooms to accommodate all the... More

Great location. Lots of options for dining and entertainment. Cheap eats and fine dining close by. Zoo is close. Aquarium too. Very nice hotels nearby. Dallas got this right.

This convention center is huge, but the facility is excellent. Just be aware that rooms with A are at the east end of it and rooms with F are at the west end. It seems like a mile walk between A and F. The Omni Hotel is at the F end. If you are being dropped off, be sure to... More

Dallas Convention Center is easy to get to using the Dart Light Rail System - lets you off under the convention center. Large and spacious area for exhibits. Has food to purchase if needed and plenty of rooms for lectures. Omni Hotel is connected to the convention center.
