Attended the SEG2016 at the Convention Center downtown Dallas. It really is a very BIG convention centre, possibly even bigger than the one in Houston. You need good walking shoes to cruise around, it is easily ten minutes walking from one end to the other! The excellent Omni Dallas hotel is connected to the convention centre. Parking was easy on... This convention center was well planned. I never felt frustrated by my walk to and from any location in this place. Elevators to parking areas was an awesome convenience that I am not used to. Even with a large floor venue like CEDIA, I was able to walk the floors without begging for a piggy back ride. All in all,... More

Comic-Con 2016 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas Texas. Convention Center was easy to get to. Maintenance and security were clearly visible and available if help was needed. Center was clean and orderly including the bathrooms. Was very adequate for the comic convention with a huge main floor and numerous smaller meeting rooms to accommodate all the... More

Great location. Lots of options for dining and entertainment. Cheap eats and fine dining close by. Zoo is close. Aquarium too. Very nice hotels nearby. Dallas got this right.

This convention center is huge, but the facility is excellent. Just be aware that rooms with A are at the east end of it and rooms with F are at the west end. It seems like a mile walk between A and F. The Omni Hotel is at the F end. If you are being dropped off, be sure to... More

Dallas Convention Center is easy to get to using the Dart Light Rail System - lets you off under the convention center. Large and spacious area for exhibits. Has food to purchase if needed and plenty of rooms for lectures. Omni Hotel is connected to the convention center.

We were in Dallas for the USAV Boy's Jr National Championships, having attended the AAU Girl's JNC in Orlando two weeks prior. That allows a fair comparison with the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. First, I must admit that the Dallas CC is definitely in downtown Dallas. It's walking distance to Dealey Plaza. It's also in the middle of... More

Go here every year for Mary Kay Seminar. Have been in the ARENA and other custom designed halls for this big event of some 12-14,000 consultants. Excellent set up, always good vendors. Close to hotels.

I really don't have much to say. I have attended many events here. The most recent was January 2016. Dallas either needs to spend money on renovation or build a new one. You can feel how tattered and worn and dirty the accommodations and decor is. You don't have to look too close to see the facility is showing it's... More
