Interesting fact: Highland Park Village was the first self-contained shopping center in America. True. It contains some of the finest high-end shops available, but is also a fun place for those without a Manolo Blahnik budget (if you like window shopping). There used to be a ton of great restaurants, but they keep getting chased out due to the shocking... More

A great place to browse in a bookstore or to take in lunch or a coffee. Southern Hospitality in real and welcoming in this neck of the woods.

This is a High-end mall, with stores like Chanel, Valentino, Hugo Boss and so on. The only affordable thing for a regular guy is the movies a starbucks. jajaja Nice place to window shop, or if you have the money this is the place to be, small but really nice. Also some great dinning options.

Highland park village is an amazing place if your looking to shop, drink, eat, or relax. They have it all. Easy and convenient to get to and ample parking. If one restaurant is busy you don't have to worry there so many choices. I think it's much easier and convenient to come here versus all the big malls. All the... More

I love walking around Highland Park Village and window shopping. Its beautiful architecture and great shops shouldn't be missed! Also, skip Starbucks and check out blue market grocery nearby- it's wonderful!

The oldest shopping center in the U.S., Highland Park Village offers many designer boutiques as well as restaurants like Mi Cocina, a Starbucks, Royal Blue Grocery, and Anthropology. Although many of the high-end shops in this center are too expensive for most visitors, the window shopping is great and the area is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're... Highland Park Village is THE shopping center for the fashion forward and well-to-do in Dallas and the park cities. It contains several stores with no other location in Texas. It is also worth viewing for its historical interest. This was one of the first shopping centers built in America and it continues to shine with a well-maintained Spanish aesthetic.

Functional space with great attention to detail. What a fun place to spend the day. Nice mix of retail and restaurants with non-obvious offices. And oh I almost forgot the Movie Theatre. The retail is higher end but, there is also a Starbucks and moderately priced restaurants. Much of the staff in the retail stores have been there a long... More
