This is a nice mall. It is directly connected to the Westin hotel where I was staying and it was extremely convenient for some light shopping as well as some lunch choices. It has some high-end stores in it as well as some of the usual ones. It also has an ice skating rink on the lower level!

We did some shopping here on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded, and we had no trouble with parking despite being in my husband's large double cab truck. The mall is huge and has a very 90's architecural vibe to it, which I loved. I also enjoyed the variety of stores. You can go fo upscale shopping at Louis Vuitton or Gucci, or you can go mid-range at Nordstrom, or you can catch deals at Forever 21. We had a good shopping time, and it will probably become my go-to shopping destination in the DFW area.

Certainly the Galleria is a large mall so all your shopping needs can be accomplished here. We came however for their large Christmas tree display, which was pretty cool. I would recommend getting a coffee and hanging out around the Christmas tree if you are there during December and watch the ice skating. It was worth a quick stop to start off the day.

A lot of great shops, but the amount of security present to “protect” the high-end stores is a little unnerving. The ice rink is great, the food is not great, but in general all the shops have what you want. Most stores staff members are kind of stand-offish and don’t really greet customers.
