- luvmarriottWoodbury, New York121 contributionsNice MallThis is a nice mall. It is directly connected to the Westin hotel where I was staying and it was extremely convenient for some light shopping as well as some lunch choices. It has some high-end stores in it as well as some of the usual ones. It also has an ice skating rink on the lower level!Visited June 2024Traveled soloWritten July 6, 2024
- PhilOklahoma City, Oklahoma232 contributionsGood variety of storesWe did some shopping here on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded, and we had no trouble with parking despite being in my husband's large double cab truck. The mall is huge and has a very 90's architecural vibe to it, which I loved. I also enjoyed the variety of stores. You can go fo upscale shopping at Louis Vuitton or Gucci, or you can go mid-range at Nordstrom, or you can catch deals at Forever 21. We had a good shopping time, and it will probably become my go-to shopping destination in the DFW area.Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten August 31, 2024
- Nate080411Nashua, New Hampshire1,103 contributionsDuring the holidays, check out the Christmas TreeCertainly the Galleria is a large mall so all your shopping needs can be accomplished here. We came however for their large Christmas tree display, which was pretty cool. I would recommend getting a coffee and hanging out around the Christmas tree if you are there during December and watch the ice skating. It was worth a quick stop to start off the day.Visited November 2024Traveled with friendsWritten November 28, 2024
- feenix21Huntington, West Virginia68 contributionsA Little MuchA lot of great shops, but the amount of security present to “protect” the high-end stores is a little unnerving. The ice rink is great, the food is not great, but in general all the shops have what you want. Most stores staff members are kind of stand-offish and don’t really greet customers.Visited January 2025Traveled on businessWritten January 15, 2025

Well for one, I’ve seen several celebrities shopping here including Kevin Gates and some woman rising star and I forgot her name. The ice skating rink is big and skaters everywhere. Starbucks charges way too much for coffee and their associates act like they don’t know when they get paid. Typical entitled brats as far as the eye can see all under one huge roof. One of the other commentators said it was hard to navigate,, old and in one store you could see stains on the ceiling and bathrooms needed fixing. Yes…in the 80s, this place was beautiful but 37 years later…it does look dated. On a more positive note. Kevin Gates shot a few scenes of Dallas , filming from the upper level parking garage and it’s a gorgeous view of Dallas It’s located atf the George bush tollway service road going north of 635. After you exit you will go to the stop signs take a right and slow down because the entrance is right on the left

Went here to get a pair of shoes, and found what we were looking for. Parking was crazy, but the attendants were doing a great job of directing traffic. It took almost 30 minutes to get over the bridge and into the parking lot, so be prepared for that when you travel there.

Plenty of shops. Ice rink. Plenty of options to eat. I found unique shops like Vans store. Kids will love the Squishmallows store. The parking lot can be a bit confusing, but there are guards that try to direct you. If you are into shopping, I would definitely stop here.

This is an old, refurbished mall, and it shows. Just finding the place is challenging. The streets are poorly marked and easy to get lost. Finding a parking entrance is no fun. Unless you've been there recently and know your way around, you'll be in trouble. It's attractive, I guess, at least on the inside; but poorly maintained. Even in stores like Macy's or Apple. Lots of general disrepair, like large water stains on the ceilings and delapidated restrooms.
You might think being at the intersection of LBJ and the Dallas Tollway would make the area easy to navigate. Think again!
Unless you live close by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. I wouldn't bring anyone there or suggest they go there unless that was their only option.

The Galleria Mall, despite its attempt to blend traditional retail with leisure activities, falls short in delivering a satisfactory experience. While it houses a range of well-known brands, this lineup of conventional mall stores feels uninspired and lacks diversity, offering little beyond the typical shopping fare. The predictability of the store selection might not excite those seeking a more unique or eclectic shopping experience.
The mall’s indoor skating rink, while a novel feature, isn’t enough to elevate the overall mundane atmosphere. Although it provides a diversion from shopping, it seems like an afterthought rather than a fully integrated part of the mall experience.
A significant downside to the Galleria Mall is its parking facility. The large parking garage, designed with narrow parking spaces, poses a considerable challenge for drivers of larger vehicles. This issue is not just an inconvenience but a major deterrent, as struggling to find suitable parking can significantly dampen the overall experience of visiting the mall.
In summary, the Galleria Mall's reliance on traditional mall brands and its inadequate parking facility, particularly for larger vehicles, lead to a lackluster experience. The addition of an indoor skating rink does little to compensate for these shortcomings. Therefore, I can only justify a 2 out of 5 stars rating for this mall, as it needs substantial improvements in both variety and infrastructure to enhance its appeal to a wider range of visitors.

Dallas Galleria is open. Plenty face masks. Plenty fast food eaters. And some shoppers too. The mall is familiar like I know it from Florida. They have a great souvenir shop called Texas Treasures. I found bling-bling Cattle Horns. It was love at first sight... I thought it was local mineral gems dazzling the cattle skull, but it was bedazzled with Swarovski instead. Designer Cattle Horns. Oft, but it’s a thing here in Texas like BBQ. Anyways, this place has a slew of stores. Everything you could ever wish for probably... The mall’s department stores are Macy’s and Nordstrom. Big place for big hair. Also, there are like ten hotels nearby. The closest: The Westin Galleria, Le Meridian, AC Hotel by Marriott, and Residence Inn. Imagine vacationing just to enjoy the shopping experience. That’s moolah fun y’all.

This mall has a lot of stores including some really upscale places like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Coach. If you’re into window shopping or just regular shopping it’s a great place but it’s not really necessary for a vacation as it only has a couple of local novelty stores. The bottom floor does have an ice skating rink as well as a nice place to get snacks such as a nice macaroon store and a gelato place. It gets pretty crowded so keep that in mind if you’re going to go.

We stopped here after brunch with some friends but before heading downtown before going to the airport to fly home. This is a very large, clean, and modern mall. For those who enjoy shopping online but want a different experience, this is the perfect mall for you, they have a bit of everything including an ice rink!

My first time being there. I was so amazed at how many stores inside and the eating places. They have covered parking, which is very nice especially in the summer time.
They are also pet friendly if you keep your pet in a stroller or carrier of some sort.

Is there free parking there? How bad is the parking situation? I don't mind walking, I just want to know if there is free parking all day but not overnight of course.

This mall is big so you need to take a picture or write down where you parked and where you came in. Some parking garages you end up having to walk around the building to find an entrance. It was confusing the first time but now I just park in the same garage all the time.

Bonjour, est-ce que l'entrée est gratuite comme pour tout centre commercial ou est-ce qu'il faut payer ?
