Visited over the holidays and was very impressed. Great selection of stores and I liked the layout of the mall, where you basically made 1 big circle.

It's a holiday tradition for my Wife and I to visit NorthPark around the Christmas Season! It sure is a fancy mall with countless high end stores...but wow is it fun to window shop and take in the decorations! Be warned, most stores are VERY...More

As we were staying in downtown Dallas we took the light rail to this mall for some retail therapy. All the big names you could want were there as well as Macy’s, Gap, Sephora and lots of interesting smaller retailers. Variety of place to eat...More

Even though it is billed as a large mall the place is rather small. The department stores are nice and the place is setup as a square. Interesting design but feels rather odd in the way it is designed.

We are not very avid shoppers so we were a bit overwhelmed by the high end stores specifically for one name brand. Kate Spade David Yerman Etc. We spent most of our time in the standards like Dillard’s, American Eagle, And Macy’s. Excellent mall, just...More

This mall is interesting and efforts are made to liven up the space. It does not focus on maximizing space for business but also put careful thoughts in delighting its visitors by having exhibits in the mall. A welcome respite from the outside heat and...More

It’s nice to see a shopping mall that also puts emphasis on art exhibits. With its wide variety of stores, a clean food court and an AMC multiplex theater, this massive indoor shopping mall is also well maintained and littered with a bunch of art...More

NorthPark Center is my favorite indoor mall in Texas. Besides the old and bumpy parking lots outside and the plain building decor the inside is very elegant and luxurious. Marble floors and high end shops make this place feel special. You will find your favorite...More

Park by Nordstrom (or by the theaters) and go to the second floor, then exit into the mall and the movie theater and food court are to your left

Public Transportation on W Northwest Highway? (4 Replies)
Interested in getting from Radisson HOtel & Suites to Northpark Center (shopping mall). Its only about 7 miles (hotel only offers free transport within three miles), so I thought about a taxi......Any suggestions. I live in NYC -- going Friday Nite Oct 21 just for a party on Oct 22, going home Oct 23. Many thanks Karen

Questions about location and what to do (9 Replies)
Hi! We are considering going to Dallas the first weekend in November. What is the weather usually like? If we decide on going we will be getting into DFW around 5pm on a wednesday and we will be staying for 3 nights. We've never been to Dallas so are unsure where it's best to stay? We will probably rent a car because we want to go to Six Flags. This is a list of things we would like to do while there: -Sixth floor museum -Dallas Zoo -Bike on the Katie Trail/Hike at Trinity River ...More

Six Flags might not be open on weekdays while you are here. Cross that off your list since it would take an entire day anyway and is out of the way. Great view with great food can be found at 560 at Reunion Tower. Another place with a good view is The Belmont Hotel. You can sit at the outdoor bar and order from Smoke (BBQ). Weather could be anything from 50-80 degrees. We have varying weather; you just never know. Northpark is a nice mall with just about everything. If you are looking...More

NorthPark Center is your ultimate high end shopping... (5 Replies)
The 220 million dollar expansion of NorthPark Center is Complete! It is now the largest shopping mall in Texas...Yes!, larger than Houstons' Galleria. NorthPak is like a palace. With its high ceilings and marble floors. The only shopping mall with a sculpture garden in the center. Definitely an oasis. The AMC theatre is your ultimate movie experience. You also get a spectacular view of Downtown Dallas....If you just want to shop, go to your loca mall, but if you want a memorable experience...More

My son is working for the new AMC Theater at the expansion and says it's really, really nice. There's a different kind of seating, not stadium exactly. I'm looking forward to seeing something there next week (during a quiet time) and checking it out for myself. The AMC Glen Lakes was my favorite regular movie venue for the last 15 years and I'm sorry to see it go as a public venue. I'm not looking forward to parking hassles and difficulty getting to the new theater, but if the movie watching...More
