this is one of the best parks in cypress. I'm typing this to meet the character limit. Vote for Obama.

This beautiful park is heavily wooded and peaceful (except when the skateboarders are there), plus it provides access to the Precinct 4 Walking Trails that connect all the parks along the Cypress Creek water system. But avoid it when it has rained heavily recently because it can get pretty swampy.

Small park along the banks of Cypress Creek. Great area for a picnic. Covered pavilion with tables. Play areas for youngsters. Skate area and paths leading to the hike and bike trails along the creek. Secure area, actively monitored by cameras and Harris County Constable deputies.

This no-fee, safe, woodsy, and well-shaded 3.0-acre (1.21 ha) park had a paved 0.75-mile (1.2 km) perimeter walking-path with several fitness stations. A narrow, creek-sand connector hike/bike trail had minor elevation changes and mostly flat or easy grades. The park’s playground had two structures for children of different ages as well as some swing sets. The park also had a five-table picnic pavilion, eight picnic tables, several BBQ pits and benches, a small skate park with half-pipe ramps, an information kiosk, and security cameras. Litter was minimal. On the downside, the park had few parking spaces, no parking allowed for bike-trail use, no restrooms, and no water fountains. I most liked walking the paved loop trail. I least liked the apparent need for security cameras at a small suburban park and having to wait so late into the day to take a walk in the park.
