We wanted an inexpensive animal experience for kids 5-10 that would give us the ability to drive at our own pace and chose Topsey because it was a short distance from our Leander home. We arrived on a weekday around opening time, purchased 10 bags...More

This was seriously the highlight of our trip! The animals would stick their heads straight into our car (my daughter still claims to this day she was almost "eaten" by a camel). It was so neat to be so up close and personal to all...More

Drove through with my son, wife and 2 year old grandson. Between the drive thru circle, the cage displays and the petting zoo all had a great time, especially feeding the animals.

We took our kids while visiting from the east coast. I honestly think I enjoyed it the most, even more than the kids. On arrival, get out and see the exhibits near the parking lot. Also, make sure you get some food for the car,...More

Talk about a whole lot of fun! We had a nice January day, went thru twice so that everyone could sit in the truck bed and experience the love from the residents. Some more "loving" than others, but a great experience.

Been to three such parks in Texas. None as good as Topsey. The animals are well cared for, grounds clean and beautiful, roadways clear. All the folks here are friendly and helpful. We have probably been through 15 times over the years. Grandkids never seem...More

We loved the welcoming ostrich. He walked up and stood in front of car as to say "welcome and i will let you enter for treats." Almost all of the animals came right up to the car. Some more intimidating than others. Rules say not...More

It takes about 30 minutes to ride through. It all depends on how fast the people confront of you drive. They have a small petting area also.
