I remember when this mall first opened in 1980, and it was kind of a big deal at the time. It has been upgraded since I saw it last, and still has a nice, small town appeal to it. The day I went, it was pretty empty, which made it nice and quiet. Sadly, I get the impression that it is under-utilized. In today's day and age of everyone ordering off Amazon, I still prefer going to the mall.

Over the years this has degraded from a really nice small mall to a 1/3rd empty, slowly dying mall. So far they have managed to replace the anchors stores, like Sears, and added restaurants in the parking lot but the mall is just in a slowly dying state. It ends up being a place for people to walk in Summer where there is AC versus 102 outside. Been watching this evolution for decades. It does make me sad.

The Post Oak mall is fairly good however it is very small and not a whole lot of variety but if you just want a fun day out then the Post Oak Mall is great

This mall is small by most standards, but there is plenty of stores to browse to waste time: JC Penney's, Macy's, & Dillard's to Hot Topic, Spencer's, & Gamestop. The food court has a variety as well. If you have small children, there is even a Chuck E Cheese's.

I went to the JC Penney's store there. I needed a white dress shirt in a hurry. Good price, good quality. There were many other choices. Got what I needed

Not many stores I’d want to shop here, plus the fact that they allow the puppy store to exist really angers me. They make how much money a day from college students wanting to pet the dogs, yet don’t choose to spend any of it on comfortable bedding for the dogs? That’s insane.

Every year I come back to Post Oak Mall to see all the good kids of the Brazos Valley and take their gift lists. Next year come by with your letter so I don't forget what you wanted and I'll keep an eye out for you to be good during the year!

Walked around and it’s just the usual shops. Wasn’t very crowded which makes me feel like it’s not a popular mall. Walked through Macy’s and it wasn’t up to their usual standards. Guess it’s good if you need something commonplace but I found it disappointing.

While visiting college station it would have been rude not to visit the mall. They have a decent selection of shops and even have an Aggieland outfitters shop which is pretty cool and everything Texas A&M. They also had a pet store where you could buy actual dogs and my husband said you can pet the dogs for a certain amount of dollars. This is unusual to me being from England because you have nothing like that there. There’s a bath and body works and some other bits and bobs so is good if you’re just going for a wander.

This run is incredibly dated. Everything is old and worn. The mall doesn’t appear to be managed well. At the entrance we came in, many of the stores were closed or the spots were empty. The other end had some nice stores but I wonder how long this mall can survive if no cares for the building. Seriously impressed.
