This is a beautiful beach with fine sand and great surfing wave. My grand daughter rented for $10 a board and a wetsuit and had a a great time surfing the waves. The beach is clean and and invites you for long walks.

Point Michaud beach is THEE place to try out surfing. You can rent a board and wetsuit for $15.00 for the hour or you can have your own instructor for $40.00 an hour......the staff is very friendly, the beach is magnificent and goes for miles.

The beach and waves are amazing and totally surreal! After one visit you can't explain how you feel! It truly is a "diamond in the rough", but if you want a challenge there's surfing that can be tough! Take a day and try to watch...More
