What a beautiful park! Took time out to take pictures and walk the rocky beach (yes, water shoes are recommended for all). The landscape and views are remarkable. The "beach" is stones and quite sharp ones. But, this is Texas! Nothing comes without a little...More

I have been going to this park consistently for over 8 years. I go for the lake access and boating ramps. The lake itself is excellent for on-lake recreation. The lake water is clear and clean. It gets deep fast in most places. Those aspects...More

For an area you have to pay to access I’d expect it to be in better condition. Tons of trash. There are better areas around you can access for free that are much cleaner.

To enter this park, there is an automated gate. You put in $7. for day use fee, and the gate opens. The park is fairly large and has a good bit of lake frontage. I come here often, as we live fairly close by. My...More
