Don't go in dry season
Jan 2020 • Friends
We went in januari. It was realy hot so its was all dry. In the end was a mini waterfall but not worth the 10.000dong +2000 for the scooter.

Ik believe is rainy season it would be more beautiful.

$1.50 well spent

Nice walk up to the falls. It’s the dry season now so it wasn’t as impressive as it could be in the wet season but enjoyable nonetheless.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the animals statues. An interesting selection and it seemed that climbing and sitting on them was acceptable which was fun.

There were trash bins along the way and we didn’t encounter any garbage or litter on the trail.

It’s a cobble stone path and our kids (5 and 8) did well with it in sandals but it would have been better with close-toed shoes. The kids had fun trying to catch fish in the pond at the falls.

Google map is possibly wrong location :)

A lovely morning spent meandering around some lush gardens and although the waterfall was not very big it was pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of park.

You will know if you have gone wrong with directions as you will end up at the army camp lol

More Than a Waterfall
Nov 2019 • Couples
Although the waterfall is nice, take the time to meander the grounds and learn more about a traditional norther Vietnam home. The grounds are well groomed with lots of interesting plants.
The huge tables and chairs are magnificent. The trees that were used for the tables are more than a thousand years old and came from Cambodia.
The various animals and people scattered around are charming. A wonderful place for kids to run around and explore.
Full service snack bar. Lots of photo opportunities. Highly recommend.

Tranquil, yet full of picknickers
Jun 2019
We visited on a Sunday which was probably the worst day as the walk all the way to the waterfall was laden with local picknickers. ( who leave a lot of rubbish :( ) Its a nice walk through rain forestry type area. Be prepared for a long slow climb to reach the fall.

Great for a little hideaway
Sep 2019 • Couples
My partner and I walked from our hotel to the park (about an hour and a half), and it was worth the wait.

A steep but easy hike to the top of the waterfall was great to get some pics and play in the water. I would suggest taking snacks and a few drinks as you can climb into the water at any time and join the locals for a few drinks on the rocks etc.

I loved how it felt locals go there to chill and get away from the town, and it’s only 10k each to enter

Go there early. We were alone at the waterfall for 1 hour. Nice way to cool off. Dont expect to get a huge tan from here, because its trees covering the sun. We went there two times, just to take a pause from the sun.
