We visited Cabella's for some Christmas shopping and a little homemade fudge, and found everything we needed. However, they were incredibly understaffed for the holiday season and it was difficult to find prices on things. In the camping section, I resorted to checking the website from my phone to find prices on things in front of me, and when we... More

This is a fun place to visit even when you don't need to buy anything. However, we never leave there empty handed we usually find something to purchase. It is fun to just go in and view the animals and the new items they have.

Ordered the elk burger and onion rings fresh from the grill. The onion rings were awefull! Tasted like they had been under a warming light. The Elk burger was luke warm. Certainly didn't taste like it was freshly grilled. Someone plz direct me to the nearest Whataburger!!!

Love this store, so much to see with the fish tanks and stuffed animals all around. Has ever thing for camping hunting and fishing needs. I think most stuff is over priced but if you wander to the back to the bargain cave you find some gooddeals.

I used to live 15 minutes from a Cabelas for about 15 years. Recently moved to Texas and this is the closest Cabelas (300 miles away). Was in Austin on business and had to stop here. This is the best place for outdoorsman to go when you can't go outdoors.

If you need something for your hunting trip, this is the place. But why are the employees so rude? They act miserable. And if you ask a question, it's like you are bothering them. I observed 3 or 4 employees standing around talking and had to say "excuse me" to get their attention to help me. It may be worthwhile... More

I have been to about 10 Cabelas stores across the US. This one isn't the biggest or fanciest, but it has some neat attributes. The crossover between their camping and outdoor gear to touring on motorcycles is pretty good. Camping, hunting, fishing, boats, there is a lot of good gear here. I consider their synthetic layering clothing to be perfect for... More

Worth your time. Not only do they have an incredible selection of all kinds of outdoor equipment, but you could spend hours just walking around the place, looking at stuff. They've even got a really good little restaurant up on the second level.

The animal exhibits are excellent and having animals grouped correctly is a bonus. The taxidermy is excellent, the aquarium is well done though the signage could be improved (bigger pictures and discriptions or better lighting would be nice). And there is the chance you just might see the stuff you didn't really know much about and now really want to... More

Cabela's is probably a great stop for the serious outdoorsman. If you are just the casual shopper I prefer their larger competitor who has much greater variety and better prices.
