My girlfriends and I can here for stomp grape event! It was awesome and so much fun! We had been wanting to stomp grapes for awhile and found this wonderful jewel just an hour outside Houston and had a blast! The owners were awesome and very nice and helpful! We found great deal for winery on groupon! We stomped grapes,... More

Don't put a chain across handicap ramp. Some of us are not "officially" handicapped, but have a lot of difficulty with stairs. Did not care much for the wines. Small operation. This is a retirement hobby for these people. Messina Hof is better, as is the Fredericksburg Trail.

The staff gave little information about the wines you were sampling aside from the types of grapes it was made from. All wines were just sub par. The staff was reluctant to actually do tours because "there was a project in the cellar" and "it was muddy near the grape vines". They also had cheese trays but refused to sell... More

I'm not connoisseur of wine but do taste a few here and there. Was by the Chappell Hill area and decided to check this place out. I had the wine tasting which wasn't bad so I decided to buy a bottle to take it home. But when I drank it at home, the taste is not the same at the... More

Small is the right descriptive word. Ok for dropping by to taste wine on a week day but forget weekends. Lack of space and staff will hinder its growth and ratings.

1. It is indeed a pleasant little place on a hill. The shop is nice, the seating plentiful (for under, say, 30 people) and the selection of gifts is good, if not typical winery schtick. 2. The wines are not bad. Neither are they outstanding. They're good...that's it. That is NOT to say you won't find one that suits you,... More

Not sure what to make of the stop. Several people were wine tasting when we arrived around 3:45PM on a Saturday afternoon, so we waited for an open spot. A small bus of people celebrating a birthday had also just arrived and were enjoying their wine on a covered patio area. The tasting room is very small, but there are... More

Went here late on a Saturday recently so only had time to taste one wine. I enjoyed their Collina Bianco so I bought a bottle. My friends tasted one of the reds but didn't enjoy it. I don't know the name though. I liked that the location was outside of town with pretty scenery around it. Good place to relax.

I haven't been to many wineries and this one seemed to be a little above average. The wines were excellent and I got to taste quite a few. I found the Blanc Du Bois, a white table wine, to be especially tasty and so I bought a bottle. There was no charge for the tastings which may be because I... More
