Wonderful old town charm

The restoration of this historic downtown property was done right! Nice shops and a great place for some pick-me-up coffee while out shopping or to get through the work day!

What a great place to relax and have a wonderful breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The atmosphere is great, the people working are friendly and very attentive, and the food is very good. Lots of choices for food. I had a blueberry lemonade that was a spectacular drink. If you want to sit and visit with friends while you eat, you... More

This year old Restaurant and Shop set in a 1800 building is truly a winner. Took a group of Ten ladies there for lunch. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they had ordered from the counter, which was then delivered to our table. The acoustics could have been better as it was quite loud and they do not take reservations which... More

The original business dates back to the mid-1860's and that includes this historic building. It houses a restaurant, library and a specialty ladies and men's retail store. We didn't go in the restaurant other than to pop our head in. Everything we've heard the food is excellent there. The retail store has some really unique items and worth browsing over.... More

Not much on the menu to interest my 3-year-old granddaughter. A HUGE cookie was all she wanted after she saw them in the desert case. I had the chicken salad and it was EXCELLENT! I will return, however, not with my grandaughter. :(

I eat lunch at the Dienger, on average, once a week. I must say the food is excellent and some of the best in Boerne. But, portions are getting skimpier and skimpier especially with the chicken salad croissant. Also, as noticed by my guests and myself, the staff do not really seem to care people are waiting, Some seem very... More

I had a nice slice of quiche with a cup of soup. Just the right size instead of "Texas size" so no left overs to take home. We sat outside under cover on the porch facing Main Street (Indoors, it was just too noisy). This is a lovely historical (former library) building that also houses a shop. Ordering is done... More
