Got tickets online, took the family on a Sunday evening. Christmas lights are FABULOUS! You drive in slowly, taking in all of the beautiful displays. Park your car and wander around the old west town. Plenty to see and do, food and drink is great...More

We were not quite sure what to expect. But we had a blast. It was really cold the night we went and the propane heaters they had out were a life saver. We drove in and saw the lights. Which were less than I thought...More

We were very disappointed. 50 bucks to drive thru s few lights then on the ranch not much for kids to do. The two things they had cost extra money. Don't waste your time or money. Horrible.

The Ranch is just west of Boerne on Hwy 46. On the way @ IH 10 & 46 you have Wahataburger, Chillis, DQ, taco Cabana, Dennys, Starbucks, Churchs, BBQ stand. In town more choices for food. For 4&6 its maybe worht going of the old west is your thing.

We bought tickets to the riverwalk parade on Friday. Our original plan was to spend the day Friday down there and do the riverwalk sites that day, as we are staying in the Hill Country. Is the parade really that bad of an idea, and where should we park for an easier exit? We have two kids ages 2 and 4, what suggestions do you have to keep them entertained on Thanksgiving day, and what should we eat for Tgviving? Since we are in the Hill Country, it could be anywhere in the city. I think we...More

Now that the Enchanted Springs Ranch is no longer open to the public, is there something similar that provides similar entertainment/experience within an hour of San Antonio? We will be visiting San Antonio in March and would like to do something like this one of the days we are there. Loved the idea of a chuckwagon dinner, pistol western show, old west town, animals, etc...

Please give us the exact date you would visit this event. Why? Because some things we have access to mentioning are "annual" events or one time only, not year round. Some are very close to San Antonio. Thanks much.
