The Resort Course at Tapatio Springs is a Texas original once again. $2 million in restorations were completed in the fall of 2015, and meticulously and strategically overseen by renowned golf course architect Tripp Davis and Associates. "Our course is once again among the best in the state," said George Strait, one of the Resort's owners.

Really Fun Course

We had gone to this resort many years ago. We had heard of the new owners and how much they put into the resort to bring it up to date. It was fantastic! We stayed in a room right by the spa and adult pool, which was fantastic. The course is lovely with a perfect view of the Texas Hill... More

This is such a fun course, and very fair from the women's tees. The scenery is stunning. Course was in great condition, except for the green on the first hole. Green speed was a little inconsistent between holes. Pace was great in the morning. Overall it is a great value, and plan to play it again. Bonus- their restaurant overlooks... More

We had a nice visit on a rainy day. Not much to do at the resort as it was cool, couldn't use the bonfires and only one restaurant on the premise. It fit what we needed as not much else around, but unless you are going to golf, might not be the best place.

The staff are all generous with their care and attention which makes this resort feel quite luxurious. The greens were green and well groomed; the water fall and various ponds are lovely. We made it a day trip and ate in the cafe. The BBQ nacho plate is delicious and HUGE and the sprinkling of shredded purple cabbage was a... More

Second day of golf with friends, the drive to get here was beautiful so we were excepting a great layout and were not disappointed. The course wasn’t in too good of shape most of the greens had some damage or fungi’s growing on them, I think there was on a few that were in good shape. There were some changeling... More

A picturesque and very enjoyable layout for all skill levels. Some interesting, and challenging, holes. There was some Spring maintenance taking place but it didn't really affect our play. Will go back again.

This is one of our favors places to go in the hill country. The course is fun but you can tell the drought has played a roll in this course. The greens still ok but not great and not sure why Troon is not managing this course.

Played in a tournament at this course last Saturday (Oct. 3). This is a scenic course and is challenging. Overall course conditions were good. The ground is very hard is some places, but greens held the ball and ran smooth and fast. The men's locker room was huge and well appointed with lounge area, locker room, and showers. We had... Course could be in great shape later on in the year. When you first pull up you think its going to be a great course. Range is lush and green. Then you get to the first tee box....turn back while you can. As of now, save your money. Greens are terrible. Again, terrible. I was told not to putt on... More
