A large lake that offers fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking and camping. The lake is big enough for skiing and power boats but also has small coves for quiet bank fishing. Many marinas and restaurants are in the area. The water is clean and most beaches...More

I live close to the lake and have been on it many times. I had a great time exploring in a boat. There are many parks along the shores of the lake.

Parks, ramps, picnic areas and docks all keep in good condition. Fishing or water sports all great on this medium sized Corp lake. The most scenic shoreline in Texas. Few beach areas, however.

Such a beautiful place, with breathtaking views. There’s a pull over place by the Dam where you can stop and take pictures.. There is a Huge Park for picnicking and boating.. One if the prettiest places in the county..

My husband and I went to Belton Lake on a Saturday afternoon in October. The lake was beautiful. Many of the parks are closed after October 1 for the winter so that was a disappointment.

Not sure, but if you have a license to carry would say yes. May be restricted on Corp parks?
