This is a beautiful park on the lake for RV sites. Clean Bathroom multiple stalls and large showers with hot water. Beautiful oaks and green grass on property. Access to lake. But don’t get site # 24. Couldn’t change park full. It is sloped it is in a hole the picnic table is concrete and can’t be moved on the wrong side of camper. Driveway is asphalt no concrete pad. Driveway is narrows uneven with deep culverts on both sides. You almost fall trying getting in out of camper due to slope and uneven asphalt. The site from hell #24. Had to jack camper 6 inches to level. All others sites are nice some with deluxe patios. You don’t know what it is they don’t tell you the level or slope. No pictures. We had booked x 5 nights. Don’t get site 24

Great campground as others have mentioned. Quiet and peaceful with lovely oak trees all around. Bathrooms are large and clean. The only site without a level concrete pad is site #24. It is asphalt, with a steep slope. We camped at this site as no others were available. Leveling side to side took six inches of blocking and front to rear was about four inches. In addition after getting level, the entire lot itself is sloped, plus there is no patio and the picnic table is on the wrong side of the site. We were unable to switch sites and are here for a week. This site should be bulldozed. There is plenty of room to make a more level site. The park is great but DO NOT choose SITE # 24.

This park was great. Cement sites with covered tables, grill and fire ring. Electric water only but who cares when you’ve got good site. The lake was across the street but within walking distance if need be. Walmart 2 miles away. No highway noise or trains. Will stay here again if in area. Cost us half with senior pass. Good job Corp of Engineers.

We loved it so much the first time we had to stay again. (We had previously stayed in April 2017 in site #25). Some sites have a view of Belton Lake and some have lots of shade. The showers were very clean. There is a laundry room near the entrance. There is a security gate too. There was a great playground for our kids to run around. They have water, electric, and a dump station. Sights are pretty level. There is also a boat ramp but due to recent flooding, it was not accessible.
