This is a beautiful park on the lake for RV sites. Clean Bathroom multiple stalls and large showers with hot water. Beautiful oaks and green grass on property. Access to lake. But don’t get site # 24. Couldn’t change park full. It is sloped it is in a hole the picnic table is concrete and can’t be moved on the wrong side of camper. Driveway is asphalt no concrete pad. Driveway is narrows uneven with deep culverts on both sides. You almost fall trying getting in out of camper due to slope and uneven asphalt. The site from hell #24. Had to jack camper 6 inches to level. All others sites are nice some with deluxe patios. You don’t know what it is they don’t tell you the level or slope. No pictures. We had booked x 5 nights. Don’t get site 24

This park is a real gem! Very well maintained, very quiet. It has electric and water, very nice bathrooms and shower facilities. It’s right on Belton Lake. Very grassy and many shade trees (live oaks) and each site has a bbq, fire pit and covered picnic area! Unfortunately, as of now, the boat ramp is closed, probably due to low water levels. There is no beach or swim area here. Also, it’s for camping only, not a day use park!

This is a beautiful park with many shaded sites. The park is up high on bluffs. Helpful staff. Bring your own firewood or burn debris from site (usually you have to buy from the park) Showers were large and clean. Wifi only near entry. Watch out for 30 amp. We could only use one AC. (can manage 2 and frig at home) Don't stay on site 24 with small children or large rig. Beautiful site but the outlet and water on the wrong side and you can't level your motor-home because of the incline of pad. You would have to back in and your door is not on the picnic pad side. Picnic tables are all on cement and have shade or a roof. If you can stand 30 amp, 25-28 are roomy, level and shaded. A lot of space to play on 25.
Since there was flooding the lake boat ramp was underwater. I still saw a couple of boats use it (like 2) We had a kayak but did not use it. There another boat ramp nearby that people used. There is a neat park nearby with beachfront and picnic tables. However, it was closed and under water. You could only see the rooftops of the pavilions.

Very nice campgrounds. Concrete pads, modern hookups, fantastic restroom/shower house. Very friendly camp hosts. Quiet location, but nice for families. There is a laundry facility with WiFi access however I did not visit? Will most definitely visit again. This is a Corp of Engineers campground. Limit of 14 day stay. Dump station available.

We just bought a travel trailer and we are checking all the near by parks (this was our second park). The lady at the gate was very nice and helpful. The pads are large, level, and spacious with water and electric hookups. I have a 33 foot trailer and we had plenty space. The showers and restroom were very clean, even though the park was almost full. The park was very quiet. Behind our pads was a trail that we took to go down to the lake to go fishing. The picnic tables were clean as well as the area. The fire pit was on a concrete pad and was clean of any charcoals and debris. We enjoyed the stayed at this facility, definite we will return to this park.

As someone else mentioned, this is not a day use area. We camped here for 3 nights. The spaces are great and spaced well with water and electric hookups. There is also a dumping station, shower/restrooms, playground, laundry facility, and boat dock. We had a great spot for our 5th wheel. It was very clean and peaceful. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes through the campground which was paved. The boat dock was a nice area that we were able to walk down to and enjoy the view of the lake. The restrooms/showers were clean although we did not have to use them. The kids also enjoyed the playground. The laundry facility was small as it only had one washer and 2 dryers. The campground was gated which was nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to camp-either RV or tent.

We loved it. We spent 4 days at Live Oak Ridge. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The scenery was beautiful. Most of the campsites were well shaded and all had lots of room. No one was sitting in your lap from the other campsites. Nice views from a number of sites. I believe all sites had fire rings, BBQ pits and picnic tables. Many of the tables were covered. This is strictly a campground, so only those there to camp are in the park. Those complaining Live Oak Ridge is only for RVers, the website clearly mentions that restriction. There are a number of parks on the lake for anyone not wishing to camp. The ones we drove through were as nicely equipped and maintained as this one. For those with boats, there is a boat ramp. Wi-Fi is limited to the activity center which is near only 1 campsite.

Live Oak Ridge Park remains one of our favorite weekend get always, for both the huge oaks we park our trailer under, and the peace and quiet. It's a great place for a get away, with the lake to kayak and fish in, and the park across the street to hike through.

My husband and I attempted to visit Live Oak Ridge Park on a Saturday in October. We discovered the park is for RVers only. There are no day use facilities in the park. My husband and I are RVers but not on this day. The park looked nice from the entrance and there is a good view of the lake from the park. There was no one at the entrance gate house and the gate arm was down. 20/30 amp hookups are $18, 20/30/50 amp hookups are $20. The park is closed Dec 1 – Mar 1.

We camped here on our way to East Texas. The campsites are huge and very well maintained. Very level pads and firepits that are cleaned out, not full of old ashes. We had a covered picnic table and grill. Our spot backed up to the lake making for incredible views.
