This is the only place I spotted the longhorn cattle. It was a long drive from Bandera, but I really wanted to see them.

We started in Bandera and worked all the way around. Do not miss going to Fredericksburg and eating at Ottos! What fun! I certainly appreciated all the friendly folks.

We did hike, but just one trail since a few of the others were closed and I didn't notice any manure. You may want to look at all the trails because the ones that allow horses most likely will have some, but not all allow... More

Try the number on the Dixie Dude ranch website, they have beautiful horses. "Blue" is my favourite, he's gorgeous.
