I attended a party at the pavilion and was able to enjoy the view of the bay, watched kids on the playground and was entertained by the many breeds of dogs in the park. The restrooms are adequate but slippery when wet.

Bayshore Park is a great place for family and friends. Walking along the walking path is nice; no dogs, unless you meet one that is being walked by their owners. Birds and the water can be so peaceful.

Have a seat at one of the many benches that overlook the Cruise Ships coming from Texas City ~ sailing toward Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. There you will find people fishing. hiking, and bicycling. There is a large playground for children. There are clean restrooms and covered picnic areas. Popular Park with the locals and travelers. Great place for flounder fishing and walking your dog. It has restrooms and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. The boat launch is a double ramp with two piers.

Nice large park located on the water front so it is excellent for fishing and is probably the most popular activity at the park. There is also a covered pavilion area with picnic tables. Benches for sitting, lots of walking paths and open green grass for baseball, softball, frisbee and barbecues. Lots of herons and other birds are for fun for bird watching as well.…
