very poor customer service. we rented 2 pontoon boats and were told twice about the applicable 10% military discount.
a few days later when the credit card receipt did not show the discount applied, we called them back and spoke to Chris. Chris claimed that they told us that the military discount cannot be applied during off season!
they would not honor our original agreement (and apparently don’t honor our american veterans either)
this business is not worth your dollars.
choose another marina!

We rented cabin 1 for July 4th it wasn't cleaned and we found water underneath the sink, the ceiling was nasty and found dead bugs in bathroom. So that tells me it wasn't cleaned. The owner was very rude but did refund my money back. I will not rent here anymore because of the owner was very rude. But I rented cabin 4 before and it was very clean. The owner told me two other people wanted the cabin I told him good they can stay in the nasty place. The staff was very friendly though.

Stayed in a one BR cabin. Cabin itself was really nice. Seemed to be fairly new. Overall it was ok. Furniture, bedding, towels, etc were really old and worn out. Really need to upgrade there. Cabin was fairly clean, but not great. Overall ok, but could use an upgrade of furnishings / supplies and step up cleaning. The marina area is really nice. Food was good, karaoke was fun. Nice facility. Great service from friendly staff.

We have a ski boat based at Tims Ford Marina. For my birthday we had plans to spend the day on the lake, but out boat was down for maintenance. Therefore, we rented a pontoon. They were kind and gave a discount for being based there. The boat was disgusting. I asked about it and they said "we cleaned it up." It really was pathetic. So bad that we pulled it around to our slip and spent the next hour cleaning it to an acceptable level even for a rental. The floor was horrible. I used a cleaner and washed it. The seats were soiled with sticky stuff and we cleaned it all up. It looked much better when we returned it. I took photos and asked for a manager but "no one was there." I wrote an email to them the next day and never received a reply. Horrible rental service. I now avoid even buying fuel or snacks from them.

The Marina has only one launch ramp, but many people just wait in a queue, then park at one of the many spaces. The restaurant has all the food you might need for a day on the lake. But the hand-dipped ice cream is the best with flavors that rival Baskin Robbins. It is a laid-back place, and the speed limit is only 15 mph until you leave the area--with gas is available at boat dock. But please, be courteous and use "no-wake" speed when entering the different coves--there are people swimming and playing at their property in these coves.

I've lived in neighboring Winchester, TN four years and recently retired. I grew up on TVA lakes in East Tennessee so knew pretty much what I was in for in terms of all the recreational aspects of these well-monitored lakes. Sadly, Tim's Ford Lake is under served in terms of full-service lake marina's, but after becoming acclimated to all the possibilities I've settled on Tim's Ford Marina for on-water boat dockage. This facility has all the amenities including cabins, RV camp ground, showers and laundry, restaurant, mini-store, fuel, and huge docking space for houseboats to dinghy's. The staff is friendly and helpful. Live, outdoor entertainment on the restaurant patio on the weekends is a good way to top off a fun day of boating on the lake.

The cabins are so very cute and the view is amazing. Cabins are not fancy by any means but certainly clean, comfortable and well appointed. The satellite TV and Wi-Fi were a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed burgers and fries at the marina restaurant on our first night. We had a wonderful weekend.

We rented a 1 bedroom cabin at the Tims Ford Marina for 6 days. What a wonderful peaceful vacation. The cabins are not 5 star accomodations but they were clean and quaint and ohh so comfortable. Our cabin overlooked the lake. Why I rented the cabin was that it had a full kitchen so I could cook our own meals. They have pontoon boats and conoes for rent at the marina and the State park has trails for biking and hiking about 1/2 mile down the road. Winchester Tennessee is ummm.... small, quaint, not much to offer, but we drove to the Amish area in Lawrenceville? (burg) which was beautiful COUNTRY>>>>as is most of Tennesee ( I say this in a good way!)

The cabins were a fantastic place to stay and I would reccomend them in a heartbeat!

I've docked my Pontoon boat at this marina for several years!! The staff is always super nice friendly and helpful !! Living on the local area we could just take the boat in and out but found the convenience of this Marina is well worth the cost! They also built a new RV park and have lake side cabins to rent. Parking is limited for cabins but room for 2 cars per cabin!! Overall excellent!
