We were steered here by Tim's Ford TSP information desk for a delicious lunch! We enjoyed the warm temperatures, cool breeze, and some excellent service on the dock. The Onion rings and fried pickles whet the appetite and the chicken tenders and sandwiches went a long way to filling bellies before our next adventure. We had two teens and a toddler with us and found something on the menu to please everyone.

Stayed at Tims Ford Marina in May of 2020 at a one bedroom cabin. Overall great experience! Staff was very friendly. The Hard Dock Cafe was only open for take-out during the virus nonsense but the burger we ordered was actually pretty darn good. The marina itself is tucked in a quiet cove and our particular cabin faced east with a great view of the sunrise. Cabins are furnished and clean, nothing fancy. They provide bedding, towels, toilet paper and basic kitchen items including pots, pans, coffee maker, fridge, stove, etc. Grills are shared but we had no issue. Remember to pack extra blankets if its cold when you visit. Marina shop has basic essentials which we were glad for because we didnt pack dish soap or matches (none provided either). Ice, beer, drinks and treats can be purchased as well. For those visiting for fishing, which we were, there are separate docks with power to plug your boat in at night at no extra charge which was very nice. Launch and the property overall are easily accessible with no major hills and no gravel roads to deal with. Central location in the lake as well. The adjoining RV area had a live band playing Saturday night and they shut down by about 9 which was great for those of us getting up early. Also, the cabins have good wifi if you need it. Says there is cable tv but we didnt bother trying. We will be back for sure!

We love Tim’s Ford Marina! We have our deck boat docked in the covered boat slips and we eat at the marina several times a week. The food is good, music on the weekends, and the staff is always so helpful. If you are looking to rent a boat for the day to enjoy the lake or even rent a waterfront cabin, this is your place!
