    Family fun!
We really enjoyed the museum and grounds! Our family of six spent six hours there and still didn’t see everything. Our kids (7-14) really enjoyed all the hands-on opportunities in the museum, plus exploring the outdoor structures. The food was decent and fairly priced as well. We will definitely be back!

    Highly recommend for families!
Excellent museum for kids. They have a wide range of exhibits to satisfy everyone’s interests. It was nice that there are both indoor and outdoor activities. Everything was very clean, the staff was kind and the ticket prices are very reasonable.

    Fun museum
I highly recommend this park and museum to anyone and any age. There is something here for everyone at any age. It is a lot of walking but it is worth it. The museum was well laid out and easy to get to. Very clean as well. My family enjoyed the trains and walking around the old cabins. We had a wonderful time and will recommend discovery park to all our friends.

    Museum day
Spent the entire day and did not see it all. 12 and 9 year old boys and grandparents. We like the opportunity to view things outside as the day warmed. We have returned here several times over the years. Does not disappoint

Took the grandkids to DPA with aunt & uncle. We got there about 1pm and stayed to 5pm. Needed a lot more time to see it all. I spent my time looking at the historical exhibits and ended up in the military area which I really enjoyed. Lots of actual vehicles and weapons from the civil war to the current day, most of it was not touchable but it was fun to see. They had some military planes outside the building and helicopters that were used in Vietnam. I also enjoyed the car & motorcycle displays. Kids explored another area in the museum and then we all went out to the play area were the kids enjoyed playing. And of course they have a gift shop. I thought that the price $25/adult, 15/child was pretty high for the 4 hours we stayed, but if you are going to stay all day and see the whole thing it's not too bad.

We visited Discovery Park of America in Union City, TN yesterday (6/28/20) with my 5 year old granddaughter. I highly recommend this attraction especially when we all have concerns about visiting venues such as these during this crazy time. In terms of cleanliness, I would rate this park a 10. (They are currently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for deep cleaning.) The 100,000 square foot museum has something for everyone - classic car collection, aquarium, fossil and space exhibits, all of which are excellently presented. There is a separate admission to experience an earthquake simulation which occurred in the nearby New Madrid fault area in 1811. The tower experience is also an extra fee. In addition to the museum, there is a 50 acre heritage park with primitive outbuildings, many of which were moved to this park to depict rural life in the 1800s. This was one of my favorite parts of the park.

Much larger than appears from outside. Three levels inside with displays of dinesaurs, spearheads, live fish, various local items used in the past, and simple scientific interactive displays for kids. It was too cold to venture outside much, but there are lovely log buildings that look like a small village. Outdoor activity items for kids, like a small safe Zipline, large scale musical instruments, playground, etc. Lots of outdoor things to keep young kids engaged. Very safe, clean and very nice staff. We ate at the cafe inside the museum, which was pretty good. Fair prices. I was surprised it was so crowded, but not so much you have trouble moving around. We did not have enough time to see everything in one day. Really should have two days, especially in good weather. Admission is reasonable. Around 15$ for an adult. They give AAA, AARP and military discounts. Gift shop is nice. Grounds are very well kept and lovely. If you have kids, a must see if in the area.

We had driven about 2 hours to get here with our 13 yr old granddaughter, so we ate lunch in the cafe first. It was very good food and very reasonably priced. It was almost 1 before we began our tours. We started outside with the old settlement, then the antique tractors, 1 room schoolhouse, Blacksmith shop, Gristmill, Blue Angel & Thunderbird planes, Huey Helicopter, Moon Dome and Missile. We might have covered 1/5 of the outside. Inside the museum we saw some of the items on lower level & entry level. Antique cars, Military Gallery, torture chamber exhibits, Native American Gallery. Never made it to the 3rd level! There is soo much to see, we will definitely have to come back. We highly recommend Discovery Park of America.

Went to Union City to visit Dixie Gun Works and our hotel was right next to Discovery America so we decided to check it out. Admission was only $10 to celebrate their anniversary, we did not add on any extra attractions. The park is super clean, the displays are well laid out with tons of information and some local flare. We particularly enjoyed the military displays and car area, be careful in the helicopter, the seats slam down hard! Outside they have a nice display of a titan rocket with a launch console you can select to hear the launch. The place is huge and could easily take an entire day if you did all the added attractions, highly recommend this park.

Second trip to see this great place. Brought someone new with me this time and they were thoroughly impressed with all the displays and interactive exhibits. It is a great museum and park that needs to be marketed more. It takes a good 3 hours just to hit and see everything and with that time you may miss something. We also went thru the Drive thru Christmas lights, and it was very nice and colorful, everyone needs to be able to see the light display, don't miss it if you get a chance and is very good price wise. This is for any age, but small children will love it for their hands on exhibits. A lot of walking but it is worth every step.

We drove over from Reelfoot as this was about the only thing listed to do in the area. Much nicer than we expected. It has something for everyone here. Plenty of kids things, both inside and outside. Interesting exhibits for adults from military, classic and collectible cars to science, civil war, trains and farm equipment. You could easily spend all day here if you have kids and still wouldn’t see everything.

There are lots if activities for the entire family to enjoy. Plants and landscaping very pretty this time of year. We were disappointed that most of the tractors in the museum have been replaced by photos and displays.
Also the cafe was packed as usual with only 2 people taking orders. We wasted over an hour and half standing in line, waiting for food and eating our lunch. As many people that eat there, you would better serve your customers with more options for purchasing food. The outdoor snack bar had a ridiculously long line there to. It is quite a feat trying to get hungry and thirsty kids something to eat and drink!

We usually go to the Discovey Park of America a couple times a year, it never gets old. You can easily spend the entire day exploring their exhibits. The grounds are vast and there is alot to look at inside and outside. Surprisingly the cafe has delicious food! I would highly recommend taking a trip there.

Best 7 hours with our three 6 yr old granddaughters. We got there when they opened at 10 and stayed until they closed at 5.

No rides but so much to do and see and beautiful grounds. Would recommend for anyone with kids up to about 12 or even couples just wanting a weekend getaway.

Staff was awesome. Restaurant was average.
