This museum is located on a large property near the Tullahoma airport. The main feature presented here are the stagger wing airplanes. The best way to view why they are called stagger wing is to view them from the side. There is plenty of information about each plane as you walk from one to another. Be sure to view the aviation art in the halls. There is a small gift shop featuring tee shirts, a few books etc.

The staff is so full of themselves and do not want to answer my child's simple questions. Then I find out that the City taxpayers contribute to this place. If I was a resident that would not be happening! Treated us like outlaws just because we are Black! Thought Tennessee was over this!

Awesome museum with something for everyone. Great variety of old and new Beechcraft airplanes including some super rare ones. The facilities are very homey with multiple places to sit. Tells neat stories about the brand and you can look inside multiple planes. Good first trip and we will definitely be back.

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum really needs to advertise their existence more as we only discovered it by accident.
A HAPPY accident for sure, as it's one of the best aviation museums we've ever seen.

Well-documented with Timeline Photos, news articles, and the path the Founders took to make it all a Reality, the main attraction is, of course, the incredible Beechcraft machines- meticulously restored with the provenance of each aircraft.

The museum is divided into three parts, each more fascinating than the last, and it's all in pristine condition. We spent about two hours there WITH a 5-year old who thought he'd died and gone to heaven.

Gift Shop. Small Snack Bar. Lovely Restrooms. INCREDIBLY friendly and knowledgeable Staff. Winter caveat: It was chilly inside, so you'll want to bring along your jacket. Not sure about the hot summers.

Beware of their hours of operations, I got there at 4:10 pm and found the gates to the property closed. I tried calling the main phone number and it went to voice mail. I was excited to see this museum after driving the short distance from Lynchburg and the Jack Daniels Distillery, only to find it closed. The advertised hours stated open until 4:30pm I subsequently sent an email to them and received a reply to the effect that it takes at least an hour to see everything and they start closing up at 4pm.

My wife and I stumbled upon the Beechcraft Museum in Tullahoma, TN while traveling in Sept, 1012. If one is interested in aircraft at all it is well worth a few hours. It was built and furnished by Beechcraft enthusiasts, and is controlled by them, not by the company.

The museum has the best selection of Beech Staggerwing aircraft I have ever seen. They are easily accessible, with one able to walk all around them up close, look inside, and, on a few examples such as the Starship, to actually get inside to see what the interior is like. There are probably 8-10 different Staggerwing models, most either donated or on loan from private owners. All are in excellent condition, and most are flyable. There are also other Beech models, including an around the world plane, a V tail Baron, and early Beech racer, and a Beech Starship, of which only a few were built. The Starship clearly shows the influence of Burt Rutan, designer of the Voyager and of the VariExe and Quicken. Interestingly enough, so few Starships were build (11) that Beechcraft could not economically support them and purchased as many as they could for destruction. The only remaining examples are in museums.

The museum is quite modern and an unexpected treasure at a small airport, well worth the admission fee of $10.

Had a great visit to the Beechcraft Museum. Many examples of Beech Staggerwings, Model 18’s, Bonanzas, Barons, and even a Starship. You can even climb in the Starship and sit in the cockpit. Might want to watch the smaller children and make sure they keep their hands to themselves since many of the plane exhibits are fabric covered and susceptible to easy damage. Best surprise of the day…antique church pews stationed around the museum so you can take a break. Also lots of historical Beech memorabilia. Nice museum, we’ll be back!

You will enjoy this museum even if you have no idea what a Beech Staggerwing is or if there are no aircraft in the pattern. If you've ever flown in or owned a Beechcraft, you should see this place. The fly-ins are a great place to take a young family and are well done.

With 3 large buildings containing beautifully restored planes from many decades, this museum was a very pleasant surprise. The aeronautical history is very well displayed, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
