We had limited time to visit Tennessee and decided to take a look at the caverns. What a nice experience. I would highly recommend this to everyone who visits the Knoxville, Maryville area of TN. The tour guide, Jen was very knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasant.

The concerns over the hours of operation seem to have been updated on their website since 2014. It is NOT stroller friendly. It is NOT necessarily considered easy terrain...though it didn't stop a couple in our group who were 80 years old!!! It IS an amazing adventure in which we gained great insight into some incredible history and fascinating science... More

Tuckaleechee Caverns was an unexpected pleasure to experience. My friends and I visited it on a whim due to the overwhelming positive reviews on Trip Advisor. I am so happy that we did this! Jill was our tour guide into the caverns and she provided an excellent tour that was filled with interesting stories, history, scientific information, and plenty of... More

Today our tour guide Jay lead us through the Tuckaleechee Cavern. The sights were incredible. The tour was long and the price was very affordable. All seven of is enjoyed the two hours we spent at Tuckaleechee Cavern and Jay was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He was very patient considering I never set my camera down for a second.

We went to Tuckaleechee Caverns with our sons, 23 & 20 yrs old, and my mother in law. The story of the cavern was very interesting and the sites in the cavern were also! Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and exciting. My oldest son is a geologist and he was impressed with the tour. We... More

If you are ever in the Townsend, TN or Great Smoky Mountain area, stop by the Tuckaleechee Caverns. Sure, most folks visit that area for the mountains, but take some time to see what is underneath the mountains!! The tour lasts a little over an hour and the tour guide allows the guests to set the pace. There is plenty... More

An hour long tour with lots of formations and a waterfall. This cave was large inside and not so many places to hit your head on. Quite wet inside, but well paved to walk. This was a beautiful cave to see after the Cades Cove road tour. Lots of Smoky Mts. in the area too.
