It was a little expensive but was truly amazing. The story of the 2 little boys that discovered the caverns was blind blowing. I was in AWW over this place and the whole family felt the same.

Very remote area. Eat before you go, hard to find decent eateries in the area. Also, call before you go and obtain hours of operation details.

Well, I've never been in a cavern and we had some time to kill and decided to take a look. I don't like to feel "closed in" but you don't have to worry about that as some rooms are bigger than a football field. Beautiful rock formations and a stream running through much of the cavern. Plan on about a... More

The cave is extensive and quite fascinating. This is one of the more unusual experiences for a trip to the mountains. You can take the tour then spend some time exploring the cave on your own. The water falls are beautiful.

The cavern is beautiful and the waterfall inside is amazing! There are some pretty steep stairs, but if you are in relatively good shape, it should not be a problem. Our guide was wonderful and very interesting.

Advertised that they were open until 5pm. I'd read elsewhere that the last tour begins at closing time. We were delayed by traffic and a road closure, so arrived at 4:37. Guy at the desk said the last tour left at 4:30. When I replied that we'd heard that the last tour began at 5pm, he didn't say we were... More

Loved this place last year had a tour with a young fellow that was highly knowledgeable, today we were in a large group with a elderly gentleman as a guide, was extremely boring and unimformative. Way too many weird conversations or small talk. A little disappointing.

First thing I thought of was Silence of the Lambs and Buffalo Bill's pit. When you first walk downstairs to start the tour...It was just a big hole that someone dug up in their basement. But once you got in it was incredible. Amazing and beautiful formations and well worth going into the pit.

The caverns were beautiful and the history behind them is quite amazing. I did feel like our tour guide was rushing to get through as it was the end of the day. My husband and I are fit so it wasn't terrible for us however many other people were struggling to keep up. He didn't really allow you to catch... More

I took a trip down into the caves with my wife and 3 kids. We all had a great time visiting such a unique place. The only complaint I had was the inability to explore alone without a guide. Guess it's all about safety and lawsuits though so guess I can understand. Very interesting to visit.
