We had a wonderful ride thru the woods with Jesse as our guide. She sensed my fear of riding since I had not been on a horse in 4 decades. She was great in reassuring me as we traversed thru the woods. The horses were...More
Cam, our guide, was excellent in ensuring we were safe, saw wildlife, and had the best ride! Slow pace is good for all ages and experience levels. Some Hills through the trail add to the adventure. Definite yes to do (again!).
My husband and I had a great time. It was the best trail ride we have been on. The scenery was beautiful and our guide made the adventure even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Michael and Millie; they made a great team.

First they have rules they stick to and they make sense. They offer horse rides and carriages rides. My family of five had son in law and grandson who had never sat a horse. There was a girl about 9 years old in our group...More

This was our first time riding in the National Park. It was very different from riding at private stables in the area as it wasn't commercial (where some try to sell you photos and goods afterwards). The horses were beautiful and were very well taken...More
The trail guide was friendly and told us history of the area. My daughter was nervous. However, those feelings subsided. She’s ready to ride Peppy again. The price was cheaper than other horse stables.

They take you along a path that loops through the woods away from the vehicle loop. A section of the trail crosses the vehicle loop near the exit. The time of year you go depends on what wildlife you will see. The guides will point out certain things and give you a background on the loop and the area. The staff members are fantastic and highly knowledgeable of the area. They treat the horses with the upmost respect (and even have a couple that were born in the Cove ( Cadsie and Covie). Depending on when you go depends on what wildlife you will see. We went towards the end of the season so we only saw wild turkeys. It was still a fantastic ride especially since it was away from the vehicle traffic.
