This is a neat little hidden secret in Townsend. Nothing super special but a must do if you are in town. It's easy to find. Just hit Depot Ave right across from the Highlander Hotel. You can't miss it. It's at the river. Lol. Pretty neat to watch the river roll by while the bridge bounces. Do it !

Ok, so it took us several tries to find this bridge, but we finally used our GPS and it's actually behind a small strip mall. It's simply this - a small bridge. But it has a very nice bounce to it and the kids seemed to enjoy crossing it and experiencing the "bounce factor." I really wouldn't call this an... More

Neat quick thing to do and free. The bridge was nice and it's surroundings. Not a whole lot to it, but it was nice.

Was out for a walk and came across this bridge. Neat little stop, with some great opportunities to photograph! Take a minute to go under the bridge, there is a stone staircase that leads to the water. Take mind were the no trespassing sign starts.

We just happened to see this bridge while roaming the town of Townsend. Only holds 4 people at a time but over a beautiful river. A must see.

A very nice "side" trip on the way to Pigeon Forge. Grandson loved it. Not much to it, but was a fun stop.

My eight year old was braver than me. She crossed it before I could catch up. It was a wonderful experience to go there with our family and enjoy the great view of the river we got from the bridge.

Really nice, loved the swinging bridge especially after it rained and almost flooded the area. Definitely gotta try it.

Fun little thing to do. Free entertainment and kept the kids occupied for an hour! All it is a bridge across a creek but the had so much fun. Pretty safe too, not very high

The most I do at the swinging bridge is stay on solid ground and watch the kids run across or climb out after floating the river.
