Went late in the season and they were the only tubing company still operating so I guess we were in luck! But I went last year and a few other times in years past and the price at the River Rat was way over rated... I have found the same deal for $7 a person and we paid $15 a... More

We had a great relaxing day. Water was a little low but did not inhibit having a great time and enjoying the river. Stayed out for about 3 hours. There is a great deeper swimming spot where you can jump off the rocks into the water. Would advise bringing a lunch or snacks for between floats down the river

This excursion is right down my alley. 2 hours floating down the river. I felt like Huck Finn. I gave the adventure a 4 because of observations of other groups. The host we talked to was very helpful and gave us good information not just about tubing, but also Townsend establishments. The changing facilities at both locations were clean and well kept. The river was low when we went, but still enjoyable. Watch the weather, try to go shortly after a rain shower if you are visiting mid to late... More

Floating down the cool waters of the Little River is a great way to spend a hot summer day. The River Rat provides the tubs, nature provides the refreshing water and drying sun. A trip last 1 to 2 hours depending on the current and tuber's speed; multi trips are possible. Bring sunscreen and water shoes for the shallow sections... More

Had a great time! The kids 17 and 11 liked it too. There was a few spots we had to stand up but it's still worth the trip. I had went the weekend before too just after a storm and it only took us 45 mins to go down the river! It was great. Worth the money and I invested... More
