About
Located in the charming and picturesque town of Thompson’s Station, H Clark Distillery became Company Distilling in 2020. We craft our spirits in the same building local farmers used to house grains before loading them on the railroad for sale generations ago. It’s only fitting that our distillery is located in the same old building, using grains to create high quality spirits to Gather Around. Stop by for a tour and tasting Thursday through Monday from 11:00am - 7:00pm CST.

We were greeted by the owner Heath as soon as we entered. The tour is not a long one, is is a small distillery but the tour guide was very informative as there were displays of how the process works. We were able to see inside a barrel of sour mash and even a more detailed storage of the barrels. We didnt do a tasting due to time crunch.

A friend and I stopped by H Clark after his recent move to the area. We were met by Candice, who was very well-versed and informative. We took a tour of the small distillery, and had a tasting afterwards. The small batch Bourbon and the gin were our favorites, but everything we tasted was delicious. Candice was a great guide and very friendly - would love to return to this distillery! We loved the small, local feel that gives the distillery a personal touch.

We recently moved to Thompsons Station and came across H. Clark and loved it. Staff was super accommodating "aka" Kim! The bourbons made there are top notch, my personal favorite is the small batch selection. They also make a stellar gin!

Everytime we have friends in town stopping by H. Clark is a must. I would recommend making reservations if possible otherwise enjoy the amazing bourbon and great service.

This title has never been so true for me. I had no preconception of what to expect prior to arrival, but initially I wondered if I was in the wrong place. As having done many distillery tours in the past, this was a surprise. But I'll admit, this is one tour and tasting not to miss on your venture. Starting with the history in sure you'll be surprised what you'll learn about Tennessee and distilleries. And then you'll get to the tastings. Being new years eve we were told there were more samples to try than usual. Not sure if that's true, but we are able to sample seven options. OMG was i mildly impressed with most if them. Being a bourbon drinker and an occasional gin drinker, I'll be back to get a case of gin for sure. When we finally arrived home from our vacation and made a gin and tonic I was honestly sad that I didn't buy more than one bottle of gin. Simply the best! And the bourbon was very good too. I liked the small batch the best and will definitely show that off among friends until it's gone. And then I'll be back for more. So the brief tour and certainly do the tasting. There is no way you could be disappointed. My whole family enjoyed our time there even if they couldn't sample. I promise I'll be back for more!

Visited H Clark Distillery after going to Leipers Fork Distillery. They are both very different and both need to be visited.
H Clark Distillery tour and tasting takes about 20-30 minutes. We got to have 6 samples during the tasting. The Gin they have is nothing like I’ve ever had, there was so much flavor. After the tour and tasting you could buy a cocktail and drink it outside. Highly recommend stopping by.

My sister was visiting me in Virginia for an extended stay. As a gift from Tennessee, she brought me a bottle of the H Clark Dry Gin. She knows I am a Gin and Tonic kind of guy so this was just super. Who the heck wants yet another Starbucks gift card? Not me. Bring on a bottle of spirits with a back story from her state.

What a diamond in the rough this place is! The Bourbon they make is amazing, the town of Thompson Station is absolutely to die for (for cuteness) and the people working there were amazing! Mad love for Ashton and her mother as they welcomed me in like family. Had a wonderful time. Ashton was super cool and loved joking with her. When you stop, have her make one of her Famous Ashton (old) Fashioned drinks! Superb.

At a conference in Cool Springs and had a free day. Thought about going to Nashville but I was having so much fun kicking around in Franklin and Shelbyville that I decided to explore some more. Everyone said to go to Jack Daniels but I'm not a huge fan of whisky and I saw that H Clark makes gin. No one else was on the tour so my friend and I got the perfect balance of information - a little on the distilling process and a lot on how alcohol is legislated (or not) in Tennessee (we are reformed lawyers, as is the owner). And though I'm an avowed clear liquor fan, I ended up taking home (to Hawaii so this is a big commitment) a bottle of black and tan as well as a bottle of gin. Plus you get to drive around in the pretty countryside and if you can, go to Jack of Hearts for lunch.

We stopped late afternoon on a Monday and received a fantastic tour and tasting. The distiller was so passionate about what they do at H Clark and how beneficial Mr. Clark has been to craft distilling in Tennessee. And their products are top notch!! It's worth the drive to go check them out!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Kim, the lady that gave us the tour, was great and really knew her stuff. Very interesting to hear how the laws were passed to allow craft distilleries in Tennessee. And we got to meet Heath Clark, the owner who shared not only information on how they make their spirits but was also very knowledgable of the Civil War history right in their backyard. And the whiskey was great too!! Definitely check this out.
