A very nice place to learn about how the fish that are stocked in the local rivers and streams. A great place to take anyone who has an interest in fishing or would like to learn more about the National Forrest Service

Big fish that jump and are super active. Spend the Quarter and get the fish food. Beautiful scenery that is worth carrying the camera around.

If you have never seen the beauty of a brook trout this is the next place to at the end of your tippet on a flyrod. ITs a bit of a drive to get to the place, but its kind of cool to see all the fish in the long rearing pools. Kids seem to get a kick out of it.

It is what it says, a fish hatchery. Long spillways with varying sizes of trout. Nothing exciting or anything, but interesting if never seen before.

Nice way to see the trout in all phases of growth before they are released into the river. Close to the BMT for those who like to hike.

This is an educational experience of sorts, there is a little info. Posted at the front gate about some of the fish species in the tellico river. I think it could be better with a little interaction, such as some sort of a hands on program for all ages. Maybe some opportunities for the residents in the county to help with the breeding program or the restocking of fish into the river, just some suggestions. That said, the hatchery is kept up Nicely and the fish are really exciting to see, especially the big lunkers. There is plenty of parking, but no restrooms and while the fish are cool to see, it's pretty basic, but it's free and everyone loves it. There's not really many people here, we have probably been here 30 or so times in the past 38 years and it has stood the test of time. So, bring out the kids and enjoy a little free activity for a bit and please be sure to treat our national park with respect. Have fun and happy travels.

I've never been inside...I don't even know if you can go inside. My family and I always like to just stop and see the fish.
