My husband and I have visited these water falls 3 times. A co-worker had told me that they were beautiful falls and to make the effort to climb up the right side of the falls to see the second tier falls. We were greatly rewarded with a beautiful view of the second falls. The area around these falls is cooler... More

Absolutely beautiful place. Great for scenic picnic with short walking trails or if more adventurous a nice little climb to an even better view.

First fall is really nice... Easy short walk (probably 3-4 minutes). 2nd fall is short in distance also, .......... But it is a very steep, slippery climb, easy for young adults... Difficult for us senior citizens. Did not go to the third fall, maybe some other time. Still worth the trip for the first fall, even if you don't see... More

This is such a hidden jewel, in Hancock county, TN. Beautiful natural three tiered waterfalls with cascading creek. Great for taking photos of your loved ones.

I was out exploring the area around my new mountain cabin when I located this hidden gem. Yeah its hard to find, and you probably need to ask, or mapquest it. It will look like you are driving through someone's back yard! But if you follow the paved road next to the barn it will lead you down to the... More

A beautiful multi fall waterfall. Swimming and wading holes. Not isolated but remote. Covered pic nic shed within walking distance. Walk to falls from parking lot not bad or steep at all. Family friendly. Now the locals don't respect the place because of the trash and beer bottles are always present. Typical of what you see when hillbillys have access... More

Heard so many jokes by locals about Elrod Falls but I loved being able to get out of the car and be right there. Took lots of photos and plan to visit in summer when I could enjoy a dip in the cool water.

My family and I have visited the falls many times over the years and have always enjoyed them. If you are not familiar with the area they can definitely be a little difficult to find, and a lack of signs does not make things any easier. It is a very primitive park. There are a few trash barrels and some... More
