Beautiful cross and a beautul view from the top of the mountain. The scenic views from many points off the campus street are worth taking.

Just a simple white cross with a magnificent view. Ideal for a picnic, viewing, or meditation...or all three.

Amazing view of the valley floor with the cross honoring those that served in the military during war. Hiking trails surrounding the area make for a nice stroll through the forest before heading back down the mountain.

Though it's not the only place for sunsets in Sewanee, it's a favorite of everyone. We drive or walk to the Cross every time we are in the area.

You can't beat the quaint drive out to the end of a rolling road that culminates in this huge cross with a view down the mountain. It's a very special place. If you go to Sewanee, you have to go to the cross.

The Sewanee Memorial Cross is on a bluff in the Cumberland plateau on the edge of campus at University of the South in Sewanee, TN. It is stunning, try to see it if possible.
