Amazing view of the valley floor with the cross honoring those that served in the military during war. Hiking trails surrounding the area make for a nice stroll through the forest before heading back down the mountain.

You can't beat the quaint drive out to the end of a rolling road that culminates in this huge cross with a view down the mountain. It's a very special place. If you go to Sewanee, you have to go to the cross.
