An absolute must do! This show is for anyone from age 8 to 98 who loves to belly laugh, while being amazed by magic! Fun for couples groups and family event. Definitely memorable. We will talk about again and again.

We didn't stay for the ball drop because well, we just can't hang like we used to. Lol! However, we did get to go to the magic show and I have to tell you I am still trying to figure out how the mentalist Erik Dobell did the things he did.
For example: We found a prize in the Impossibilities scavenger hunt this week which meant we won tickets to the show and had some extra. So we were in the arcade in the bottom of space needle tonight and I saw a family playing games. I told them we had won some extra tickets and asked if they wanted to go. After looking a bit skeptical that there was actually a magic show in the arcade, they said "sure" so we wandered around until we found the theater in back and Erik gave us all seats to the 8pm show.
When we got to the show later, the family we gave the tickets to was sitting behind us. Throughout the show, Erik picked volunteers from the audience to read their minds.
At one point he picked one of the women in the family behind us. He asked her to write a name on a piece of paper. After a couple of simple, nonspecific questions to her, he wrote a name on his little white board. He then asked her to say outloud to the audience the name she wrote on the paper. She said the name outloud and somehow, out of the millions and millions of names he could have guessed, he had written that name on the board.
So...... I know that the woman in that family was in no way connected to him because we randomly picked them out of the crowd in the arcade to give the tickets that we won to. They had no plans to go to the magic show at all prior to that.
I have no idea how he did that or how he guessed which celebrity one of the audience members was randomly thinking of (which was impressive enough) but he had cut a silhouette of that celebrity out of a blank piece of white paper!
It was amazing and if you are in the Gatlinburg area, I highly recommend this show. Our 8 year old son was laughing his head off and is now totally fascinated with magic. He is practicing his magic show at the moment and really should be in bed!
It is definitely worth it!

I'm a skeptic by nature, but I'm also down for a good time and this show did not disappoint! Not sure how he does it, but Eric Dobell's performance is nothing short of awesome when it comes to reading people's minds and entertaining the masses. We thoroughly enjoyed this show and gaurantee you will too. Funny, PG, and surprisingly delightful. We would definitely attend again and will bring the kids this time!

My wife and kids and I loved the show! Fun family event that felt safe using COVID-19 protocol. The theatre is small enough to where you can sit anywhere and enjoy. The magician was great and he invited crowd participation during certain parts of the show. We would return!

We were amazed by the tricks as well as his sense of humor. Not stale and boring and he went out of the way to bring in the audience into many of the tricks. I had a deaf son and he was cognizant of that, slowed down some of his speech so i could keep up my interpretation to my son, and did all of this without missing a beat for the rest of the people in the audience. Parking was good near the theater in a paid lot. Go in through the arcade near the space needle. They will email all the info you need to get to and participate in the show. Was super fun and was our favorite part of our trip. Also, the show was very clean and family friendly. Could not be beat. I wish them many years of success and we will return again next time.

This show was nice, but it is really geared for older kids/adults than younger ones. Still, my kids had a great time. After the show, they were treated to a conversation with the magician and he gave them some special attention which made them happy. I enjoyed the show!

We took a family trip to the Smokies with 3 generations, myself, my 2 daughters and their families. We had 3 children, ages 10, 8 and 7 weeks. The adults ranged in age from 58 - 27. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show. We all laughed and were amazed at the talents of Mr. Dobell. We would all love to see more shows will definitely recommend this to everyone. Thank you for entertaining everyone in our group!!

We had a great time at the magic show. My granddaughter was invited on stage and she is very shy but she did enjoy herself. My nephew was also invited on stage and he had a great time actually he didn’t want to get off of the stage after his presentation was over. It is a lot of fun and it must see when you go to Gatlinburg it’s right underneath the space needle tower.

My husband & I brought our family (2 boys, ages 9 & 12) to see this show while visiting the Smoky Mountains. Worth every penny. It was super entertaining & funny. Content was very clean & appropriate for the whole family. We loved it!

My family and I had a great time. Was funny, intriguing and amazing. Even after the show we still try to figure out how he did it. Small environment so makes it easy for most of audiences to get into the show. Will be back and worth the money

I would love to come to the show, but I am terrified of being called onstage. I know that sometimes people who seem reluctant will be chosen and laugh it off, but I think it would cause a lot of anxiety for me. Should I just skip this show or is there a way that I can request not to be chosen? I also want to say that I found it disgusting that another reviewer who didn't realize how social media worked accused someone else of being creepy and following their underage Daughter! This is paranoid behavior and it just isn't right to go around publicly accusing people and affecting their business just because you don't get hashtags, etc.

If you don’t want to come up on stage we can certainly work around that, just let us know before the show and if we still accidentally pick you just remind us. It’s not a problem at all.
We appreciate your support and we’re looking forward to seeing you at the show!

There are two shows, and I can only speak to the one I saw with Eric Dobell. While it is Mentalism, which is definitely a more mature entertainment, it's not dry, and Eric is a very playful and comedic performer. So while a 4 year old won't get most of the magic and mind reading, they will enjoy his antics as he's just fun to watch.

Is this show suitable for a blind child or is it mainly visual?
Written August 26, 2017
There is a lot of humor in the Impossibilities but it is a visual magic show.
We did have a group of blind people come a few weeks ago and they had a really good time. So some of this depends on the age of the child and exactly how blind they are.
If you need something cleared up or would like to speak with me over the phone about this call (888) 482-3330. My name is Erik.
