You know the Sarah McLachlan commercials that make you want to cry over the treatment of animals, well welcome to it live in person. This is an indoor "zoo" so that means no fresh air, no sunlight, and tiny, cramped, empty animal jails. And yes I say jails because it is literally a small box with a cheap fluorescent light... Great place to visit for all ages and a great location in the Pigeon Forge, TN area without having to drive off the beaten path.

We love Rainforest Adventure. Its small but it feels big. The animals are little characters and you come out wanting to go back!

This is my second visit to this fun little place. Its really pretty inside, you can tell they have spent a lot of time and effort on the animals habitats, it looked very natural and real. The animals all looked healthy, happy, and well cared for. I loved the rat(!) exhibit, never seen anything like it at a big zoo!... More

Had a wonderful day out with my 6 and 8 year old at this precious little zoo. It's great because a lot of it is indoors so no wandering around in the cold.

Our group of 10, ages from 5 to 70, all enjoyed this little zoo on a cold rainy day. It is primarily indoors but has some larger animals that can be fed outdoors. It is a family run zoo. The zookeepers were feeding and cleaning while we were there and they were very friendly and informative. It took about an... More

We used Groupon to buy a four person admission with two bags of feed for around $24 dollars! Seemed to good of a deal to be true! We entered and were greeted with a smile by staff! They explained the "zoo" and we were on the way! Mostly indoors so great for a rainy day adventure, but it does have... More

It was a bit rainy one day during our recent trip. We decided to try this place since most of it is indoors. We had the BEST time here! The place is not huge but there is a nice variety of animals. The parrots were our favorite. There was one bird that talked a lot. He sang row row row... More

I absolutely LOVE animals, but I felt very sad visiting this establishment. Mice were running rampant, the exhibits are extremely small for the animals and the outdoor stable areas were extremely dirty. I just felt it was poor conditions for the animals.
