We had a great time in the water park but was unable to slip at night because of the noise in the hotel. There was only one security guard watching three hotels. We were there at the same time as 480 teenagers with no parents with them. We complained every night to the manager but nothing they could do.

If you are looking for a hotel that has quite a few activities to do on property Wilderness at the Smokies is a good choice. Huge indoor and outdoor water park as well as an arcade for the kids. I thought the pool was very crowded every time we went to use the pool. Room was okay, I've stayed in... More

This is probably the most difficult review I've ever written, because the water parks and the hotel itself was very nice. It is the attitude of 90% of the staff that made it difficult to bear at times. #1 We were excited when they allowed us to check-in to our room at 12:30p shortly after arriving when check-in is not... We've vacationed here for the past 4 or 5 years and we always have a great time. If you plan on doing any of the dry, indoor stuff, be sure to get the all stay passes. That lets you do Tree Top Towers, bowling, putt putt golf, the rock climbing wall and the bouncy frog unlimited times. It also gets... More

Property has several water park options great for kids of all ages as well as many other actiivities-bowling, arcade, laser tag..Eric. These are all things we didn't do because we have a 2 year old but would be great for families with children ranging in age. The recreational amenities and variety was really good. I saw a couple of shortcomings... More

Following are the things we loved, what we didn't love and a brief comparison to the great wolf lodge. Wilderness was a great waterpark. Lots of slides, lazy river, both indoor and outdoor waterparks, plus a smaller waterpark at the stone hill lodge (the second hotel building across the street). Also, there is an indoor arcade and adventure (dry) park... More

My family of 5 including a 10,13,14 year old stayed for 1 night. I was impressed at how attentive the lifeguards were and although they were young, they seemed very focused on their jobs. We had a bunk suite and the room was on the small side. Our balcony overlooked the parking lot, but that didn't bother us at all.... More

We were very happy with our stay at Wilderness. The room was the perfect size for our family of 5. It had a double/single bunk, a queen and a full size pull out plus 2 Tv's, a microwave and mini fridge. A balcony overlooked the parking lot. The total cost for 5 nights was about $1150. The only things that... More

We've gone two years in a row because our daughters (9 and 11) love this place! Everything in one place for a great vacation!
