Featuring Italian Style and Bubbly wines with free tours and tastings.The second newest winery in the mountains of East Tennessee, right in the middle of one of America's favorite vacation spots: the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountains Area! Come sample the excellence of our Italian style and Sparkling wines. Our educational and family friendly tours are a great way to learn about the wine making process! Tastings are always free and other Tennessee products are often available for sampling.

This has been my favorite winery for years. I visited again this past weekend to do some wine tasting and buy some wines. Ashlyn was wonderful in describing the flavors of each wine, as well as helping me make some decisions on which wines to purchase. I highly recommend this winery for the unique wine flavors and I recommend Ashlyn for her superior customer service.

My husband and I decided to do the Rocky Top Wine Trail and we're so happy we did! Hillside Winery was our #1 stop at 10am right after they opened. "Isn't that a little early for wine?" Maybe, but who cares! We were the only ones in there and Chad was the best! He described the wines, slushes and hot drinks perfectly, gave recommendations and handled our novice questions like a pro. I absolutely recommend stopping here and supporting local wineries!

Chad a our pourer today. He was so friendly and confirmable with us. It was like taking with a friend. NEVER any pressure to buy, only to taste. He was spot on with his descriptions of the various wines and were bought a couple of different wines we tested.
The Vino Rosso is a must for an evening on the porch.
There was at sweet gift shop that or 10 year old found to buy.
This is a must stop.

We went there with “Tour” group. The Manager with the leopard mask ( we think was a manger) she is the one who greeted us in a very unfriendly way and told us that since we were all with the group ( which was 14) we all had to go to the end. There was nobody else doing tastings! There were 3 open stations and we asked if we could split and she said “no” it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Matt, bless him was nice but she put such a sour taste in our mouth we were in a bad mood. People in our group had been there the day before and said how they got 4 tastings and also for free but we were only allowed 2???
We actually liked the wine but because she was so rude and made us feel like SHE didn’t want us there we didn’t purchase anything and we purchased at all the other places. I will never to back and hope she was just having a bad day unless she needs to go to a customer service class! People are there to purchase and enjoy! We recommended that the touring company remove this part of the tour and spend more time at any other one! The rest were friendly

I am a Realtor who is local to Sevierville and wanted to purchase a bottle of wine as part of a "Welcome Home" gift for out of state clients who bought their mountain dream home without ever seeing it in person. I wanted to welcome them with a few unique items from around our area. To be honest, I am not much of a wine drinker and know very little about it, so I stopped at the winery that was most convenient to where I was and I am so happy that I did!
When I went into the tasting room, I was greeted by a staff member named Katelyn. She was very approachable, had a genuine smile and was quite receptive when I told her that I was a wine novice and explained what I was trying to do. She was so sweet and pleasant and really took her time telling me about all the different wines - which was the best seller, which were sweeter than others, where the grapes and other fruits were sourced from, etc. I ended up choosing a bottle of "Black and Blue" (blackberry and blueberry) and look forward to hearing from my clients after they've enjoyed it.
Finding people with amazing customer skills has become a real challenge in our area, but Hillside Winery seems to have struck gold with Katelyn. As I mentioned, I am not much of a wine drinker myself, but I can assure you that I will direct anyone I can to go and see Katelyn at Hillside and I will certainly be back for more bottles of "Welcome Home WIne" for my clients.

Alex took care of us bright and early in the morning and was super pleasant towards my rowdy group of friends. He was super nice and walked us through all the wines and his descriptions of each wine was spot on. An amazing place to visit.

My wife and I live in Gatlinburg and wanted to give the locals a try. We tried another place, but the person who helped us there seemed more rehearsed than genuine, and their prices were quite a bit higher. Katey at Hillside seemed to really care about our tastes while being honest about her own. She worked with us for a while, never making us feel hurried, ultimately finding something that we were very happy with at a very reasonable price. We'll be visiting her again.

Great service from Renee, she helped us immediately and gave us information about the Rocky Top Wine Trail. She gave us tips on how to make the frozen wine slushies, and directions to the next winery. There was no one else there (we went very early) but you could see that they were social distancing and using precautions like plexiglass shields.

Really tasty wine and super cute items at Hillside Winery! Renee poured for us and was very knowledgeable and kind. You can try 4 wines at no cost or their entire listing for $5/per person. Since we know what we like we opted for the four. I enjoyed the Black and Blue the most, but walked away with the Collina (Merlot and Malbec blend) for my Dad. I hope he enjoys! Stop by this winery, you won’t regret it!

Stopped by the tasting room on the Wine Trail. James was an amazing server and helps direct our palettes to some amazing wines, hot wine, wine slushies, and other beverage options. Spoke to the benefits of the recurrent wine packages and the pros and cons of each package. Very helpful person and wonderful overall experience.

I’ve seen kids with their parents inside the winery. However, they will card anyone who is sampling the wines. Also, they (normally) stay right with whoever is sampling, so they could see if someone tried to pass the sample to someone else.

I agree. She was so rude to us. There were 10 of us and one of the ladies ( who was 40 ) dr. license did not have the renewal sticker on it and she was so rude about it. I understand if you can't let her taste the wine but being rude is not necessary. It was the same small elderly lady. She was awful.... Never going back
