Nice quiet tube ride down the river

Very cool ride down the river. Great prices. 9-10 year old kids loved it. Nothing else in the area is fun for 2 1/2 hours at 12-15 bucks per person. And you can do it all day long... read more

This is an inexpensive activity in an area that costs money to do anything. Spent about 3 hours going down the river. There were a couple of places where we had to walk. Riverbed is all rocks and boulders, highly recommend water shoes. Rocks are slippery , the shoes help to gain traction and protect your feet.

We usually tube with a different company when we are in TN but this time we tried River Romp. The staff was SOOOO nice, tubes in great shape (they even have ones with a cup holder and back pillow available.) We enjoyed the slow float down the river and enjoyed seeing some really cool homes along the way. It was... More

Our family was looking forward to going on this. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 2:45 PM, they were no longer letting people out for the day. Looking on their website, it appeared that the last tubes could go out by 4 PM. They were very nice about telling us and we just moved on to another activity but the kids... More

What a great trip we had!!! We are familiar with floating back home and thought what a better way to spend a vacation day doing what we love viewing some of tennessee! The staff was so nice and helpful! We had a 4yr old and 8yr old and they both had a blast! Take a small floating cooler and some... More

Wonderful relaxing float down the river, picnic at the picnic tables and back around to kayak down the river! Wonderful value, helpful staff and laid back environment. The river was refreshing and enjoyable. We were so pleased with our visit that we are returning for a second day as part of a week long vacation.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) chose River Romp for our day of kayaking and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and informative and the price was reasonable for the area at $18 each for the day. The river was a little low so we got stuck on the rocks a few times, but that... More
