Our 3-day Jeep rental for exploring the Smokey's was outstanding. The reservation and checkout/pick-up process was a breeze. And dropping off was about a 2-minute process. The whole experience simply could not have been eaiser or better. Crystal was incredibly helpful and nice, providing us with some great routes that made the rental totally worth it. Totally awesome overall experience! Highly recommended.

We rented a jeep for a day. We went to Cade’s Cove and had a blast! It snowed that night and they called and told us to be safe and don’t worry about being exactly on time because of the weather and explained about their cabin rentals too. I cannot recommend them high enough!!!

We rented Moto beast. It was an awesome choice. The staff was great and they went over everything with you. It was a very quick process as well. The family loved the experience. My only complaint is the interior of the Jeep smelled like a swimming pool. It had a very chlorinated smell, but with the top down it wasn't that bad. Also had a rattle in the front end that was a bit concerning. I did let them know about it, but the mechanics said it was due to the lift and tires and nothing to worry about. So we just enjoyed the day with it. It is a bit expensive, but it was worth it. My kids enjoyed it so much when we got home I started looking for a jeep to buy. LOL. We will be back, and I do recommend Smokey Mountain Jeep Rental. Such fun.

I followed the owner's advice on route to take. First, the Dragon's Tail is exhilarating and nerve racking lol. Second, it was one great view after another of the Smokies , rivers, falls, lakes, mountains, bears, elk, horses and more. Third, the Clingmans Dome is a must see. The Jeep was great! Got compliments everywhere. Plus, waving to other Jeeps was fun too.

We rented the 2020 lifted jeep for a fun day driving through the mountains. The jeep was very comfortable and my husband loved driving it. We did the suggested route and spent 7 hours driving and looking at all the gorgeous scenery that the Smokey Mountains has to offer. Staff are super friendly and we will be back to rent again the next time we come.

We had an amazing time with our Jeep Rental. The process was easy, and the workers were very helpful and informative when picking up our Jeep. They gave us a map of fun suggested places to take the Jeep. Just driving the Jeep through the curvy side roads was great, but driving through Cades Cove with the top down was the best!! We will definitely do this experience again when we come back!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary so I rented a Jeep during our recent stay as a gift. We had a fabulous day. My husband and kids loved the Jeep and didn’t want to return it the next day.
We received excellent customer service and look forward to renting again in the future…that is if my husband does buy his own Jeep! Haha

We rented the 2020 MotoBeast and it was an absolute blast. By far the most fun of our trip. The open air freedom of the Jeep makes cruising the back roads and scenic trips so much more enjoyable!! The customer service was hands down the best. So much easier than any other rental car agency. The price was WELL worth it and not bad at all. I’d do it again in a heartbeat! Not to mention it’s like a 23hr test drive without the hassle of a dealer. I may be sold!! It’s time to ditch the truck and get a Jeep!

We had the 2018 black keep and loved it for all 5 days. The folks there at the store are great to work with. We thought we had lost the keys to the Jeep and was able to get a message to them with a follow up return call to us to make sure everything was good

Staff was courteous and polite. Jeep was clean and performed perfectly. Really made the scenic trip more memorable and enjoyable. Watched deer saw a bear and watched two different herds of elk.

Hey there! I am looking to book this week and have a few questions:
1) Are any of the roads/trails you recommend dirt roads, or is it simply gravel roads and paved roads?
2) I noticed in many of your pictures that there are Jeeps crossing what seems to be a shallow stream or creek. Is this a part of some of the trails/roads you suggest?
3) What is your policy regarding a rain-out?

Sorry for the delay.. most of the roads on the route are paved roads but there are some stretches of dirt or gravel roads too. “Off-roading” is not allowed. The steam you see in a lot of the pics is one in cades cove and we can point it out to you on our map. If rain chance is greater than 50% we can give you a refund or if we have availability move your reservation to a different day.. great questions! Let us know if you need any other info..

Are you able to take your own vehicle through, or do you have to rent a Jeep to go through the trail?

No. You don’t have to rent a Jeep. You can take your own vehicle through (as long as it’s not a semi) the trail. It was just fun for us to enjoy with more openness to the beautiful smokies!

They do offer the option to remove the doors depending on the weather.
