Loved the ride! Would highly recommend for both the experienced riders and newbies. Chandler was our guide and he was very patient with another rider who was not very confident at first. He made sure everyone was having fun.

When you go to the office to make the reservation, make sure everyone in your party is with you. They will not start the process without everyone present to sign the waiver.

My daughter, 19, and I did the beginner trail. It was our first time riding ATVs and I thought our guide Ryan did a great job with trail riding safety. The average speed was 8-10 mph with the upper speed reaching 15 mph. We really enjoyed the ride and taking in the scenery along the trail. I would definitely recommend for beginners and for those wanting to enjoy a nice ride along a scenic trail.

Myself and my two Sons decided to visit Bluff Mountain Adventures and ride the ATV's through the mountains. The cost was around $80 per person for an hour and a half ride. The view were breath taking. Able to ride through Bluff Mountain at around 18-20 MPH. They do not take advanced reservations, I suggest calling ahead to see if there are spots available before heading over. Look forward to doing this again during the summer months.

We spent more on this outing than any other in our recent vacation to the area because it was something new for all five of us. It was NOT worth the $400. Our family was with another small family and our one hour ride left right at 12:00. I know the business isn't responsible for who else joins a group, but we spent a good 10-15 minutes waiting for the guide to help one rider in the group, and then waiting for her to get a ride back to the beginning. Then we rode for about 20 minutes before we came to the "picture spot" where we were stopped for about 10 minutes in a little area with absolutely no view of anything. The guide was talking with the other couple about ATVs and then brought us back, ended the ride at 1:02pm.They have so many trails up there, I would have thought that after waiting around 15 minutes in the middle of the ride, they would have at least added on some time. I think we rode for maybe a total of 35 minutes at the most. Our speed averaged 8-12 mph, which was fine because we did have a young teen riding, we hit 18 mph on the way down in a couple spots. It was not scenic in any way.

Also, I generally believe in personal responsibility, but their lack of attention to safety was noticeable. Not all of the helmets have straps that work. No one checked anyone's helmet for fit. They didn't have any safety glasses available. They put our 13 year old on the larger size ATV which we didn't realize until the end. Overall it was a lot of money wasted.

As first timers, it was cool to experience riding through the mud, getting splashed, etc. But similar to other reviews, it otherwise feels like you are horse back riding. You are required to follow each other single-file and it gets rather boring. There is only one look out point that you travel to for pictures of the mountains but even that is very small and mostly enclosed by the forest surrounding you.

THE STAFF WERE HORRIBLE. This is supposed to be a fun tourist experience but the staff DID NOT make it feel that way whatsoever. Our tour guide never smiled and mostly made dry, muffled, sarcastic remarks. When he went over instructions, it was as if he was preparing us for war.....not a fun ATV ride. I understand the company does not want to get sued but come on! You have to lighten up a bit..... it was a huge turn off.

In my opinion, the people are the ones that make an experience what it is. If you aren't able to create an exciting, friendly, fun, and adventurous atmosphere then you might as well fire everyone and start over.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry you had a bad experience with one of our guides. We will address attitudes immediately. As beginners, you were probably on the 1 hour Family Introductory ride which goes up about 1100 feet and the view is not quite as good as the Mountain Trail Adventure ride which goes up 2300 feet for the experienced ATV driver. You are climbing a mountain, so safety is our utmost concern. It is not designed for speed but for the ATV driving experience and for the scenery in the mountains. We will do our best to improve based on your comments.

We haven’t rode yet but , we came in early 8am when they opened. We waited an hr to get in the office . Only to find out that everyone must be present to get your tickets to ride . So we weren’t able to get the tickets . They were closed on Sunday and didn’t have an answering service to speak with someone. The website does not say all riders must be present to book your tour . . Very disappointing and a waste of precious vacation time

We waited in line for 1.5 hrs to rent ATV’s at 11:30 am on 3/28/21. We did not have our entire party with us so the girl at counter said we had to come back. She put us down for noon next day and told us to come back at end of current day with entire party so we could avoid their very long line. We went back at 3:30 (they close at 5:00) and waited another 45 minutes. The lady at the counter said our name was erased. She confirmed with the girl who took our reservation that she did in fact erase our name after we left “because we took too long” to come back. She also confirmed that she told us to come back at end of the day. At that point the day was booked. No more rides available. The next day was all rain and we were leaving the day after that. No apology. Just excuses that employees did not follow rules and now she was put in a difficult position. Very disappointed mostly because we wasted 2 hours and 15 minutes with nothing in return.

Also important to know is that this companies’ operations are archaic. You have to wait in line so long because they don’t take reservations in electronic form. So, everything is done paper and pen (or apparently pencil). So, you may wait in line 1-2 hours only to find out the day/time you want is booked out.

We paid for our trip after filling out forms. After the credit card was run we realized we forgot the 10% off coupon. They would not re-run it to save us $27. Then we noticed they charged over $10.00 for a credit card processing fee. I told her she could cancel the card and I would pay cash. The lady said the processing fee was non-refundable. The way I see it I am out over $37 before even starting the ride. Not a good experience. Shame on you! There should be some notice of that excessive credit card fee. That is your cost of doing business.

If you’re black… don’t come here!!! We called ahead of time and told them we had a large group of 8 people and they advised us it was FCFS and the times. Not once did they say they were booked up for the weekend. We get there about 45 mins later for their 2pm slot only to be met by the same person we spoke to on the phone not only denying or playing dumb that she was the person we spoke to, but came out and took one look at our group and was immediately booked up all of the sudden. We were even warned by another woman, also black that we were going to be told this as well, however looking further into the reviews, I seem to not find very much diversity amongst the reviews & pictures further proving my experience. Don’t book here. Don’t spend money here.

Overpriced all around. POS ATVs beat up, balding to bald tires, dirty unlike what is shown on the advertisements for the place. Poor instructions on operations of machines thank god we had experience even though we took the cheaper first available beginner spots. I suggest being smart like we was & bring your own helmets & goggles because the helmets we saw that was given to others were disgusting & no goggles given out. Lots of trails it seems but we had basically & up & back on the same trail. Basically no hand signals used by guide. View was not impressed in any way.
