Super friendly service and free samples of wine, the flavors are mostly sweet, but a good range. The server was so pleasant and took her time explaining each one. The muscadine wines are very unique and we loved the wine slushy so much we had to get some.

I've done the wine tours several times, though I am not an avid wine drinker. I prefer semi-sweet and sweeter wines; which Mountain Valley does well at. The prices aren't the best but they are friendly, helpful and one of my favorite of the 5. Even if you don't like wine, spend a few hours and do the wine tour.... More

Back for the second year, bought Mountain Berry again! The hosts weren't overly friendly, however they weren't rude either. They didn't exactly make me want to buy something, but the fact that the mountain berry tastes so good did, so a sale still ensued anyways. My host last year was friendly, funny, informative and really compelled me to buy some... More

We have been to all the wineries on the wine trail, and this is our 3rd or 4th visit to this winery. We have had a different experience each year we have gone. Some servers are more friendly than others. During our last visit our server did a nice job, and allowed us to try specialty wine and the two... More

It was an extremely hot day and we were trying to find a cool, relaxing place to visit. I took my 83 year old parents there for them to be treated inappropriate. They carded them, which is fine due to laws however, my dad had just renewed his license-had his old license with him AND the new paper copy of... More

We really enjoyed the wine my family purchased several bottles. Rachel was extremely nice & knowledgeable she made our time fun. I would recommend the frozen wine drink it's inexpensive & very good. Cool thing about the tasting it does not take a long time to get started. I would do it again.1

The wines at this winery were not my cup of tea (or wine, as the case may be). However, I don't discount the winery for not matching my palette. Several people around me seemed to be enjoying their wines. The wines, even the dry ones, were just too sweet for me. The decor and items for sale were overpriced and... More

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about area wines. We tried 4 samples and joined the wine trail project. Wines in this area tend to be sweet, but I tried 2 drier wines that were good.

Their wines are still really good. The server was okay. I really don't like how the wine trail is done anymore.

Great place for wine tasting. Good wines, great prices. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Gabby did a great job explaining the wines and was helpful to us in making choices. My 13 year old was with us; kids get different types of juice to sample. It made it a nice activity for all ages.
