- Daphne C2 contributionsA must see showThe show was awesome. So lifelike and real. I loved that all over the theater, on the surrounding walls esp the scene was depicted as well. The actors did a fantastic job both singing and with the story. The servers were very efficient and friendly. The food was good not great. But overall I have I say very good experience!Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 30, 2023
- Myshell1555 contributionsGirls weekendI was really amazed with the show. The music gets you in the spirit and the show itself puts so much detail to the life and time of Peter and Jesus in real time for us. Such a wonderful show for sure. I hope to see the other shows when I’m in town. The food is good and you get plenty. The cast does a wonderful job for sure.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 30, 2023
- lalinge2 contributionsGood for the SoulThe singers and actors were great. Good clean music. The service was very good and fast. I was amazed at how they could remember all the songs and lines to the play. They were organized and I Loved the background effects. I would suggest the food needs to be upgraded a little bit. The salad was good. The seating was comfortable.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 3, 2023

- crazyaboutthecatsLeitchfield, Kentucky6 contributionsWonderful experience! We saw the story of Peter and found it to be biblically accurate and compelling! The performers could be clearly heard and the sets helped to tell Peter’s story! We enjoyed the pre-show singing, especially the hymns! The food was plentiful and tasty! One of our party had a dietary restriction that was honored without issue! Staff was friendly!! This was our second show, and likely not our last!Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 13, 2023
- Sumner S1 contributionNot Very GoodThe first half of the show - a gospel/country band - was excellent. The second half was the play “Peter”…..NOT so excellent. Although the script was mostly accurate from a biblical perspective, the acting and the staging were both very amateurish. On the bright side, the staff was very kind and helpful, but we would definitely not go back.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 14, 2023
- tammy L1 contributionWhat a Blessing! My husband and I enjoyed Peter so much! It was an Amazing show. We recommend it to everyone. The food was good as well and everyone so kind! - Jim CCrossville, Tennessee40 contributionsA Savior has ComeThe Biblical Times Dinner Theater is currently performing "A Savior Has Come" in Nov and Dec 2023. The first half of the show, the audience is entertained with traditional and new Christmas music and songs. During the singing, you will enjoy a delicious dinner. In the Nov 2023 performance, the menu was ham, turkey, vegetables and sweat potatoes. Very delicious meal. During the second half of the show, they had a play depicting the birth of Jesus. These performers did an excellent job with this performance. I highly recommend seeing "A Savior Has Come" at the Biblical Times Dinner Theater located in Pigeon Forge, TN.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 5, 2023
- Big K, Little Jun59 contributionsMeh.. was ok, certainly not great.Average at best. Singing was ok, but the volume was turned up too loud at times. It sounded like the women were trying to outsing the men. The men are great singers, btw! The food was blah, like cafeteria food. The acting was campy, borderline awful. The lobby of the venue is not inviting and very quiet and blah. I wasn't even sure I was in the right place when I arrived. This show is cheaper than all other dinner shows in PF and now I see why.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 17, 2023
- Wayne K10 contributionsGreat evening show and Dinner!!Great cast of Entertainers!! We saw the Christmas Play. Good singers, and the best rendition of O Holy Night we have ever heard. Good was good, we had ham, turkey and filling, green beans, Mac and Cheese, small salad, and pudding for dessert. Servers were very good. We absolutely loved the show!!🙂Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 6, 2023

The food was mediocre and cold. The "theater" was only gospel singing which was ok but for what you received compared to other venues in the area it is over priced. Was very disappointed in the food snd the bananas pudding for dessert was awful... bananas were black. Would not recommend.

It was a mixed pot. We had dietary restrictions but instead of different food, we simply received significantly less. The dessert looked so delicious but all we received were 2 slices of oranges and some grapes. They could have done much better for the price, especially since other theaters in the area offer all-you-can-eat.
Half the show is singing and half the show is a piece of the story of Ruth. The singing was amazing! Perfect harmonies! The audience was singing and praising. Everyone really got into the songs and that was fun. The acoustics were ok. I could clearly hear what all the actors were saying. All in all a good show but maybe a little overpriced for what we received.

Now that we can somewhat travel again, my family decided on staying in a cabin at the Smokey Mountains. While there, we decided to go to the Biblical Times Dinner Theater to see the story of RUTH. So glad we did. The food was great--they even prepared special meals for those in the family with certain allergies. The show was excellent. The first part of the show is the music and the second part is the story of Ruth. Now that the multiyear remodel is completed, the facilities are much better. They have a larger gift shop with competitive pricing. Festers on Testers restaurant is in the same building which is open to the public. Plan on arriving early to shop in the gift shop and stay after to chat with the cast.

My family attended this show as a Christmas gift to my mother. There were 6 of us with two 8 year olds, 2 middle aged adults, and 2 elderly adults. The event was a hit for every single one. The children were still talking about it the next day. The music and stage were well done with beautiful scenery 360 degrees around you. We enjoyed our meal (service was great) as we watched and were happy to speak to the artists as we exited. I would highly recommend touring the museum before or after the show. It is worth the price of admission. The children and adults really enjoyed it and the facility is very accessible for any needs. I would highly recommend the Biblical times theater.
Also, we saw James Michael Rainey and Jonathan Wilburn in the first act. They did a fabulous job in not only entertaining the audience but also uplifting the Lord and Savior with their talents. It was very worshipful! I would highly recommend that you go see them when you have an opportunity.

This was our first dinner theater experience and it was less than what we expected. The theater is nice and the seats are comfortable. I am vegetarian and there was an option for me, which was nice! Instead of meat I got a portion of mixed rice. My meal was good. Myself, and other vegetarians like me, were served first and it took a while before my wife was served. We should be served together. She relayed that her meal was acceptable though the meats were dry.
To us, the song presentation was more like a Vegas style show, more contemporary than the Southern Gospel we are accustomed to or like. It made us uncomfortable. The performers had good voices and were very nice, just not our cup of tea. My wife wanted to leave but I wanted to see how the presentation of Ruth panned out. We moved to the back of the theater and watched so we wouldn't be a distraction to anyone.
I thought the presentation was going to be a dramatization (play) but it was a musical and so we left after the first song. The performers were good but like I said, just not traditional like we thought is was going to be. It was too flashy and pop/rock for us, which is more for the emotions than a true spiritual experience--in our opinion. If that is what you like, this is a good night out with a meal. It was less for us.

The price was good which included a hot dinner, served quickly with friendly staff. The theater is beautiful and the seats comfortable. It was the Hallelujah Show which turned out to be four very talented female singers. However it was very loud and could have used a change in format. The entire show was the four singers which after a while started to sound the same.

It was our last night in Pigeon Forge and it was the perfect way to end on a high note. The seating was unusual and very comfortable you all had longe chairs and faced the stage. The play was given from Peter's view which was a different take on the Christ story. I would recommend to all Christian or anyone who wants to hear the story

Past reviews are fairly accurate. The music, vocals, theater and technology were all good. The message was perfect. I agree that it"s a bit strange to see the men playing Peter, James, John all clean shaven, 2022 hair styles and some with southern accents. As far as the food, the roll was fantastic, the mac&cheese, carrots, mashed potatos and peach cobbler were good, but the chicken rubber, hard, and dry. Frankly, I would suggest the skip they dinner and add more vocals, maybe another guy or two to complement the 3 gals. Or change out the chicken for a better option, maybe pulled pork? Anyway, $50 for a good music show is fair as the what the shows in Branson charge with no food. Place was a bit hard to find for us, but parking was good and easy out when the show was over. If they replace the chicken, I'd recommend the venue. I could only give it 3 stars since The Sight & Sound Theater rates a 5 stars on my scale. Hopefully, the owners will pay attention to the feedback, make a few changes to justify a 4 star rating!

My husband and I had a fantastic time! The dinner was great and very filling. We even had banana pudding for dessert. My favorite! The show was phenomenal. The singers gave it their all in each and every song. The Lord was definitely in this place. This is a must see show! After the show, my husband visited the gift shop and purchased a pair of the most beautiful earrings made in the holy land. They were a surprise and I couldn’t have been happier. If you’re in the area, please please please give this place a visit. You will be so blessed!

Hi we are wanting to know where the restrooms are located?
And what would be the closest seats which are decent seats for viewing?
Written December 5, 2017
As an older (70) person I too scope out tge "necessities" when I go to pick up my tickets. also (as a retired L. E. O. ) I check the parking lot to see the best place to park as to get out the quickest.
Rest rooms are on the right and are rather big.
we find we like about 6-8 rows back, AISLE SEAT, center. Again old folks preference, took far back we don't see everything as well, BUT no bad seats for THIS GREAT THEATRE ...

Hi did you notice the young men from eastern Europe were not paid a wage but
Depended on tips for their wages? Not very Christian of these people to depend on us after paying for tickets at the 100 hundred dollar rate not to pay a wage.
Written October 28, 2017
I did hear that but figured they were affiliated with a church or someone who was sponsoring them and the tips were extra money. I am sure that is not their only income.

I have four children, ages 9, 8, 5, and 10 months. Is this show appropriate for them? They are familiar with The Bible and attend Catholic School. I just want to make sure that it will not be over their heads or scary for them. Thanks!

Most of the people that attend our productions are over 50. But we do have families with children and the parents say the kids love the 3D characters. And those children that go to Sunday School seem to get it much better. The Moses show has no graphic questions for children but the Days of Elijah has a few scenes of Jesus being nailed to the cross. Hope this helps.
