Our family of three was going to be in the area and decided to book a dinner and musical here. We saw "Ruth" The singers were professional and very good. They didn't use many actors, the projected many people and scenes onto the stage. While I have never experienced this done before, it was good, different.

The servers didn't seem very friendly. If you request any meal with dietary restrictions, you need to know you'll get rice. I requested vegetarian and my son veg and gluten free. We both got rice pilaf. They didn't even give my son a roll, no replacement. And for dessert he got fruit and other's got mousse. The mousse did contain graham crackers at the bottom. WELL, how about leaving them out and he could eat it then. They did bring him one and he just ate until he came to the bottom. So, any how, they really need to research better food options for dietary restrictions. A pasta option would be expected.

The seats were SO comfortable and roomy. The food is presented right at your seat with the arm swinging out so you may get in and out of the seat even if your food is there.

Also, I booked on line months beforehand and then we saw coupons in some of the booklets in Pigeon Forge. There were approx 53 people in the audience, so waiting to purchase tickets and using the coupons, should not be an issue getting to see a show.
I would return. Always happy to support Christian productions.

Apparently they have two different shows, We were blessed to go and see the musical presentation. Large auditorium, social distanced, theater type seating with a movable tray for dinner to be served. Food was good and plenty. The theater has a wonderful motif with computer generated scenes on the walls and even hidden figures to look for within. The show takes you through gospel, contemporary, hymns, and show tune style Christian music. Very well presented with some personal testimonies and I felt blessed by this show. There is a small shop to brows with a variety of religious inspired items at reasonable prices. Located in same building with their restaurant Feasters on Teaster with a Native American featured cuisine.

This was the first time my mom and I went to Biblical Times Theater. We had been wanting to see one of their shows the last couple times we were in but didn't get the chance to. The show that we saw was entitled was Ruth. The first hour was singing which was really good and the second half was the actual show entitled Ruth. All the staff were very friendly and the performers were really good. Kevin the manager (I believe that was his name) was really nice and very personable, and not to mention a jack of all trades which can be a good thing. I got the their vegetarian dish which was good and I was surprised at the portion of it too which was a good size. Overall great show.

This was our first dinner theater experience and it was less than what we expected. The theater is nice and the seats are comfortable. I am vegetarian and there was an option for me, which was nice! Instead of meat I got a portion of mixed rice. My meal was good. Myself, and other vegetarians like me, were served first and it took a while before my wife was served. We should be served together. She relayed that her meal was acceptable though the meats were dry.

To us, the song presentation was more like a Vegas style show, more contemporary than the Southern Gospel we are accustomed to or like. It made us uncomfortable. The performers had good voices and were very nice, just not our cup of tea. My wife wanted to leave but I wanted to see how the presentation of Ruth panned out. We moved to the back of the theater and watched so we wouldn't be a distraction to anyone.

I thought the presentation was going to be a dramatization (play) but it was a musical and so we left after the first song. The performers were good but like I said, just not traditional like we thought is was going to be. It was too flashy and pop/rock for us, which is more for the emotions than a true spiritual experience--in our opinion. If that is what you like, this is a good night out with a meal. It was less for us.

It was a mixed pot. We had dietary restrictions but instead of different food, we simply received significantly less. The dessert looked so delicious but all we received were 2 slices of oranges and some grapes. They could have done much better for the price, especially since other theaters in the area offer all-you-can-eat.
Half the show is singing and half the show is a piece of the story of Ruth. The singing was amazing! Perfect harmonies! The audience was singing and praising. Everyone really got into the songs and that was fun. The acoustics were ok. I could clearly hear what all the actors were saying. All in all a good show but maybe a little overpriced for what we received.

The show was good - excellent surround projection, singers were talented, and there were some creative elements. Some of the prerecorded dialogue/video was fuzzy, and the looping took away from the presentation. Biblically it was very accurate and redemptive!

The pre-show food was way below standards considering the price. The meat and vegetables were mega overcooked. None of the items would even be considered average.

The food was mediocre and cold. The "theater" was only gospel singing which was ok but for what you received compared to other venues in the area it is over priced. Was very disappointed in the food snd the bananas pudding for dessert was awful... bananas were black. Would not recommend.

Now that we can somewhat travel again, my family decided on staying in a cabin at the Smokey Mountains. While there, we decided to go to the Biblical Times Dinner Theater to see the story of RUTH. So glad we did. The food was great--they even prepared special meals for those in the family with certain allergies. The show was excellent. The first part of the show is the music and the second part is the story of Ruth. Now that the multiyear remodel is completed, the facilities are much better. They have a larger gift shop with competitive pricing. Festers on Testers restaurant is in the same building which is open to the public. Plan on arriving early to shop in the gift shop and stay after to chat with the cast.

Great talent and enjoyed the show . The first half was gospel singing and the second half was the story of Ruth. Pleasantly surprised. Food was not great but I'm sure a smaller budget played into that. We will be back for Peter. The performers were exceptional and very friendly !!!

The singers were very good, especially the lady who played Ruth. There was a very uplifting group of gospel songs at first, followed by the opera style play.

The only “negative” was the meal, bland being the best we could describe. Hot food was luke warm, tasteless, and small portions. They could do wonders with the menu by adding sauces to the meatloaf and chicken.

It was an enjoyable cast and serving crew, we just had to stop and get a bite on the way home.
