We went here instead of the Dixie Stampede which we already saw twice. You get checked in really fast and dinner starts coming as soon as you get seated. For the price you get Cream of Vegetable soup, rolls, a bucket of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, shredded pork which they call possum, soda and pudding. Our server was great. Every seat is a good seat. The show was entertaining and funny and involved some audience interaction. My recommendation though is to do the 5:00 show and skip lunch and combine lunch and dinner because you get quite a feast so show up hungry. This is why we all need to get a vaccination to enjoy shows like this.

What a surprisingly great, funny show! I’ve seen many shows on and off broadway, cruise ships shows, Las Vegas shows, and this was up there for the price paid! Food was great and tasty. Water portion, pyrotechnics, and comedy was well thought out. Come an hour or 45 min early as the ticketing in the gift shop is chaotic, even for those who purchased online. Photo ops before the show slows the flow of crowd down. Would be great if shows could scan the online tickets. We had a family of 6 cut in front of us and this made many people in line very hateful. Bring cash to tip your servers as they don’t accept credit cards. Alcoholic drinks not included.

The food was very good!! I would recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early as they start serving food once you arrive. It is all you can eat and with a good selection and very good.

The show was entertaining with talented actors.

Let's see shall we start positive or end positive? Let's start with the good, I suggest you get tickets as soon as you decide this is an activity you are doing it might improve your seating. The line to get in once doors open moves quickly, they do a nice job of getting you in, there is a bar and it serves adult drinks, a bonus for me and my wife. Everyone is wonderfully polite and the entertainment is a good show. It was a good spin on an old tale. It was the best part of the evening.
What we did not like was the rushed feeling of the meal, you sit down you are served, the servers are also cast members and stage hands so for us it felt more than rushed it was not an enjoyable pace. It's all you can eat and you pay a decent amount for dinner theater the meal is half the reason you are there. So you better eat fast to get seconds, cause it's on the table and off the table fast. Other dinner shows have a much better pace and allow you to eat and enjoy the show and you have all the time you want to feast. It's a void in service as well as your server is busy during the show. Where we sat it was hard to see the show the table is sideways to the stage for most of the tables and you are looking across the table at your family to see the show you have to turn to right or left, the person at the rail will block those af the aisle and you have to move to the opposite side of their head as they are in your way to view the stage. The food could have been great but ours was over cooked.
We have a rule that we give things like this a other chance but change if we can the things that we didn't like. So we will make our reservations months in advance to get splash zone or seating that faces the stage, we will arrive 45 minutes before the show not 30, we will go to the 5pm show not the 8 and if the food and serving experience improves I will post about the better experience.

For starters, dinner was extremely rushed. Our server threw the food onto our table (I thought that it was actually part of the shtick). We never saw him again until he brought us our dessert (pudding). The food was cold and extremely over priced. The show was ok. Extremely slapstick and not entirely professional (one of the actors/dancers still had his Apple watch on his wrist- I don't think either family wore those). Our show was rushed as the food, and we found out that they didn't even perform the last two acts- something with water and dogs. The entire evening cost well over 300 dollars for 4 people and two hours. We could have spent that money at Dixie Stampede or another dinner theater. This show was actually on my bucket list as I have always wanted to go. So disappointed.

I was looking for something different to experience while we were in the area and I came across this dinner show being advertised so I thought why not? I almost waited too long though as they were nearly out of tickets, but the lady I spoke with on the phone to order the tickets was extremely professional and courteous. We had to pick if we wanted an earlier or later time for dinner. I am so glad we ended up picking the later time as we barely made it there on time due to our schedule earlier in the day plus we are from the west coast and this time was close to our normal dinner time being they are 3 hours later than us. She didn't quite explain how to get the tickets though and I almost cut in front of everyone at the show trying to get to a will call window that didn't exist. We waited in line with everyone else and found out that the tickets were sitting in the box with everyone else's.

Once inside we were corralled in a single line into the theatre but not before we had to stop and get our picture taken by a photographer. We were then seated in the middle of a row. It took a while for our server to actually acknowledge us, once he did he dropped off soup and asked us what we wanted to drink. By this time my husband had already left to get his own drink. Waiter finally came back and dropped off the rest of our meal but we still didn't have any drinks. We ate our food and then he came back and asked if we needed anything else. It was an all you can eat so we asked for a little more potatoes, rolls and soup. Also asked about our drinks. Well the lights went down and we didn't receive any of the additional food we requested or our drinks. We were just given pudding with whipped creme after the lights went down. I don't know if he was having a bad day and we ticked him off or what or they were short handed and we got screwed because we were in the middle of the row? He also didn't seem too happy that he was there.

The show itself was corny as I thought it would be but still entertaining. We hung around for about 15-20 minutes after the show and it wasn't that bad getting out of the parking lot.

I will begin by stating that I wanted to love this dinner show:
The setting is outstanding, theme is well done, and the seating for the show is great. The food was the star of this night. We enjoyed the meal, and the service was above average. The food is certainly not as good as Dixie Stampede, but we all left full. The soup was outstanding, and our entire party wanted the recipe. The chicken and bbq were good, and the potatoes were excellent Desert was a let down for our party.
Unfortunately the actual show is the negative: It felt very amateur and the concept was very poorly put together. The events of the story line did not flow, and they show relied on cheap slap stick humor much more than well developed comedy. If I was going to suggest to others, the content of the show was directed at children 10 and under.
i personally feel that the a show can be directed at all generations such as the Comedy Barn. Will certainly not return or recommend. The staff were extremely friendly, and the actors in the show performed their parts very well. I was just extremely disappointed at the content and our entire party left full, but felt that were did not receive entertainment for the dollar. I kept waiting for the show to build and improve, but it was just a total let down.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and share your experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your meal however we're disappointed that the show itself was not what you were expecting! Our Hatfield & McCoy families are certainly a bit crazy and silly and it might not be for everyone. We sure do appreciate you joining us for the show though!

This is our 2nd visit here. The first was a couple of years ago. Show was good and food was great. We raved about it so much our family wanted to go on this visit. Chicken was crazy dry and tasted like it was cooked hours earlier. Pulled pork was fatty and drowning in sauce. Corn on the cob was just gross. The show was cute. It has changed slightly since the last time. I was embarrassed after I raved about this place. Would not recommend, and if someone goes it is nowhere worth $56.00 a person.

My husband really wanted to see this dinner show, and I planned ahead and purchased tickets online for our family of four for the second day of reopening following COVID restrictions being lifted. They had things down to an art for social distancing, cleaning, etc. We had to wear masks in the common areas (gift shop, bathrooms, etc.), but once we were inside the theatre we removed our masks and sat at our tables, which were placed six feet apart. The servers work very hard here to get food out quickly and tables cleared before the show starts. It’s important to arrive at least thirty minutes prior to showtime, preferably 45 minutes to give yourself ample time to eat without feeling hurried. The food was good, not amazing, just typical southern fare you would get at a buffet or local homestyle food joint. The service from majority of the staff was amazing, I saw how hard they worked and it was fascinating to see the coordination and teamwork that goes into the whole production. That being said, I think we just caught our waitress on a bad night. She complained most of the time, was not very friendly, and overall just put a damper on our experience. She would ask us if we needed something, but wouldn’t wait for our answer and would move on to the next table. When we were leaving I told her thank you for everything and she gave me a half-hearted, surly reply. For the amount we paid for dinner and the show, plus the amount I tipped on top of this, her service was so disappointing. I know this is not the case with all wait staff because I saw the level of service provided to others in the rows above and below us. On to the show...amazing talent! These folks are great at what they do! The singers, the dancers, the stunt people, the actors are all outstanding. They put their heart into their work, and it is evident. We really enjoyed the show, and would go see it again minus the dinner portion. For some reason our show didn’t have divers or animal acts, like was mentioned online. I guess things are modified due to COVID. Overall, I would give the show portion a 4.5 out of 5, and the dinner a 2.5 out of 5 mainly due to our service experience and average food selections. If you haven’t done a dinner show before, this is a fun experience you should try at least once with your family.

It may be all you care to eat, but you won't care to eat much of it. With a recent corporate buy-out, quality of food has sure suffered. 4 shows a day, and they church out a lot of meals but clearly no one is supervising. Chicken was OVER COOKED, Greasy, NO SALT, & Dry. Pork Barbeque was barely heated (we're sure it comes pre-cooked & frozen) and was very dry & hard, and "banana" pudding had no bananas or wafers, just chemically flavored out of a #10 can. No comment cards available, no mention of a manager, and their email address is no longer valid, so don't complain!!! Pay your $60 a person & shut up as your expensive bad meal goes into the garbage.
