Last Saturday was a perfect day. The leaves were changing in our beautiful Smoky Mountains and I attended Jim Eastin's Taking Better Photo's class in Pigeon Forge. It was very informative and fun, then we all enjoyed lunch together and headed out to capture some great memories. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to... More

We thought that we were going to learn some new techniques about photography, but we learned way more than that. In addition, we learned the history of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Jim Eastin was the greatest instructor and tour guide that you'd ever want. He had the whole group engaged. After the camera instruction, we stopped at five... More

Through AAA Deals I saw a photography class that I thought seemed really great. I didn’t purchase it when I first saw it and it went off the deals. I thought if I see that again I’m going to get it. Sure enough it came back on and I immediately purchased the deal. I was very excited to take the... More

I am one of the 3 “sisters” who took Jim's introductory class last Thursday (10/4). We all enjoyed the day so much, have shared what we’ve learned with friends, and find ourselves quoting him! His examples are easy to remember; his stories a delight. I have passed his name and contact information on to program chairs in my women’s club... More

I have had several cameras since I was a child (40+ years), have taken thousands of snapshots over those years, but always wanted to take a photography class......well, I can now mark this off my bucket list! In one afternoon, Jim taught me more about using my camera than I could have ever gotten out of reading the instruction book!... More

After using our digital cameras for three years on the Auto option, my wife and I have learned how to take good pictures with all the other options on our cameras in just one hour of free class with Jim Eastin. A couple days later we went on an auto tour where Jim gave us on-the-job training with our cameras... More

Just wanted to give you an update on how well my kids did in the Kentucky State Fair after taking your class at the Mountainloft Resort in Gatlinburg. Joshua, 15 years old, had 4 pictures that won Championship level in our county and took red at the KY State Fair. Hannah who is 12 and is the true budding photographer,... More

While on vaction in the Smokies I attended a free camera class with Jim Eastin at the Wyndham Resort, I learned so much about my camera. I am not a very social person so I asked my husband to come with me to the class because I was kinda shy about going alone. After the class was over he said... More

While on vacation in Gatlinburg, TN, I attended a short photography class at our resort with Jim Eastin of Taking Better Photos.
