There are many buckets to choose from. We bought the $100 bucket and shared it between us. The gentleman running the outside was very friendly and helpful. We found several big gems including a ruby, emerald, geode, rose quartz. We were not disappointed at all....More

This is a fun activity for the kids, but can get a little pricey. I liked this better several years ago when I found a groupon that made it more reasonable. The kids enjoyed it though.

We have been bringing our grandchildren here for the last three years. They love it. They always find good gems and shark teeth and arrowheads. The store is great also.

It was fun and the whole family. We always enjoy gem mining with the kids and watching them look for the gems is great.

This is a great place to go where you get a bucket of sand that is filled with gems and fossils. Once you finish you go to the back to get the gems inspected. They sort through everything and tell you what each gem is....More

This was our second time, and it was on our list of "must-do's." We got our bucket, which at first may seem pricey, but once you start "mining" you realize it was worth every penny. We had two pieces of jewelry made, and the lady...More

I'm not aware of a senior discount, you can Google it or call them. My family loves this mine because it's clean, the staff is friendly, it's covered from the sun and just a great activity to do in pigeon forge. My son... More

I don't know their exact hours, but we went there fairly early one weekday, because it was a priority activity, and they were open and ready. I'm sure their hours are posted on their website.
