Guests start the tour riding to the top of our mountain in our M35a3 military trucks. Once at the top of the mountain they’re given s short instructional on how to ride our ziplines. The friendly nature of our course starts riders with a gentle beginning line before reaching heights well over the treetops and offering some of the best views in town. A couple of lines in we also send guests down our brand new controlled descent on our Deus Device letting them freestyle down thirty feet between platform decks. From there its off to our massive new tower for a truly one of a kind view of Mt. Leconte on sunny days. Line four is our longest zip of 800' before returning you to our fully immersive tree platforms for a real canopy experience. My family and I went to Smoky Mountain Ziplines on a trip to Pigeon Forge. We had a group of 8 people, and we were told to arrive about 45 minutes in advance. After signing a waiver and putting on our harnesses, two guides took us on a very cool army truck to the first zipline. Our guides, Charlie and Ryan, were amazing, funny, and calmed down the people in our group who were afraid of heights. The zip line course is 7 lines, and the guides are with you throughout. Charlie and Ryan expertly explained and performed the zip line safety tasks, and I never felt uncomfortable in their care. They made the experience very fun and enjoyable for my family. There was a storm coming in at the end of our trip, so more guides had to come through to “turbo” us to the end of the course. This went very smoothly and I was very confident in the guides’ ability. They were attentive and each guide made us feel very comfortable. Overall this was an amazing experience and created lasting memories on our family trip. I would recommend this zipline to anyone who is a 1st timer, or a seasoned expert! You will surely have lots of fun!

This was the second time I've used Smoky Mountain Ziplines. As wonderful this time, as the last. Awesome views from the tree tops, incredibly long and high lines. The tour guides were knowledgeable and personable. They were telling us about the company, the length and height of the lines, kept us perfectly safe and secure and even told jokes and funny stories. Mike and Andrew were top notch!

This was a fun zip line experience through the tree tops. You start your adventure in the back of old army truck to get to the mountain top. Then you zip your way down through the tree tops of the mountains. The whole experience felt very safe and the heights, lengths, and speeds of the lines were good. They were not the most extreme that you could find in the area. I would recommend for first time zip liners, someone that might be hesitant about going, or people with smaller children that might not be sure. The guides were very entertaining and added to the whole experience making sure everyone felt safe and was having a good time. I would recommend this adventure to others!

We’ve gone zip lining many times before but this was a totally different experience, so much more personal than the others. They drive you & the technicians out in the woods in the middle of nowhere(totally unexpected) and you continue to go higher & higher, that alone was very exciting. You actually get chance to have conversations with the technicians on the drive & though out the zip lining adventure. Mike & Thomas were the best ever, I would definitely recommend them, great personality’s, sense of humor, & very knowledgeable. Brody was able to fit us in once all the bad weather calmed down, staff was very accommodating, friendly, & professional. If you’re looking for an adventure of a lifetime with people who truly go out of their way to make it the best experience ever, I would highly recommend them.

No lie, this was probably the best $75 I have spent in a loooooong time. Our guides, Mike and Ryan, and our driver, Larry, somehow elevated a ziplining tour of indescribably beautiful mountains through their personalities and emphasizing the energy of the tour group. Ziplining in itself is so fun and exhilarating, but it can sometimes seem a little monotonous and absent minded. But again, the unbelievable views coupled with our guides' personalities and spunk really made the experience into a once in a lifetime opportunity. Mike and Ryan also really welcomed everyone in the group and made everyone feel safe through their explanations of what was going on and through their demonstrations. Their teachings on this, plus their quizzing of the alphabet and simple algebra, made this into a unique and lively experience. I cannot recommend this enough!!

Smoky Mountain Ziplines operates a very professional operation. Ryan and Charlie were our guides and kept us entertained and safe. They made sure we were always securely fastened with no chance of harm. We would highly recommend Smoky Mountain Ziplines for any and all. Especially if someone in your group is apprehensive about participating.

This was our favorite thing to do during our entire week vacation! My best friend and I decided to book it the day before and it was the best decision ever! The reservation process was easy and the guy who took my call was very polite. Everyone was super nice when we checked in. Our tour guides, Mike and Ryan, were awesome! They were a lot of fun and always made us feel safe. It was my first time zip lining and they made me feel such ease I was able to enjoy the experience from start to finish. The views were absolutely stunning and we were able to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. I recommend this attraction to anyone in the area! I’m sad I forgot to take a picture with them.

Tommy and Marc were funny and most importantly made us adults and kids feel very comfortable and at ease before each ride. Scheduling online was simple, the place was easy to find and clean. I wish they had lockers to for purses or bags. They give you a pouch that connects to your harness to carry your phone, but I wasn't too happy about leaving our personal belongings in the car. Great value - two hours of memorable, fun moments and great picture to support our bragging rights!

I highly recommend Smoky Mountain Ziplines!! From start to finish, our experience was exemplary. Beginning with the first phone call to inquire, to ending a thrilling zip experience, the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and funny!! The 7 zip lines were thrilling and had amazing mountain views. Safety was paramount and our guides made sure to keep everyone safe during our journey. The location of the outpost is perfect- close enough to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg that you don’t have to drive too far and far enough in the mountains that you see nothing of the city. I took my 18 year old and 11 year old daughters; we all had a blast and will definitely return! Also, they give repeat customer discounts! Just wonderful!

It has been a while since I have been to this zipline location. The lines used to be shorter and not as high. Now they are great, high up in the trees with the platforms anchored to the actual tree. There are great views of the mountains around you and it was a fun experience. They still have the awesome log building with the great porches and the military truck which is a ride of its own. We had fun. One thing I would like to see different is how you tip the tour guide using the card to book by either going to the counter or through an email instead of cash like they do now. Most everyone locks their things in their car or doesn't bring them with which makes that hard. Also the harnesses we're uncomfortable and they need ones like the royal gorge in colorado. Besides those 2 things which are not that big of a deal it was great.
